Drive by post. Very busy at work, but at least I'm back in Minnesota again!

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 124: End of season: Which hockey table will you be at?

I'll be in St. Paul and Minneapolis in April. I'm sure I'll probably have a place or two where I could stay.
I also believe there'll be some SENANICANS! galore that Friday night.

Back to sorting through pictures of Freedom Panels...

wT: I'm with JF on this one. Get a quality USCHO geek like one of us.
And while I admire your intent to get some side action on hockey trips, boyfriending someone is far too serious an investment of your time to waste on someone who doesn't appreciate the beauty of a woman who will travel this great land to watch college hockey!
I've tried the USCHO geek thing. Maybe I should just go for a hockey fan.

I'm totally crushing on the guy from the software company that's training us at work (going to all new systems at work, it is and will be crazy). He's a hockey fan, I saw him wearing a hockey related shirt. And he's from Canada, so he must be a hockey fan. Are there too many hot chicks in Canada that I'd have to compete with (based on some posts earlier this week)? Whatever, I'm a smokin' hot. He should totally want me.

If I were to date a Canadian, I'd tell everyone "I'm dating a foreigner".

More drive by action. Work has been a beast.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 124: End of season: Which hockey table will you be at?

Work died down a bit, since I've finally gotten caught up with my emails. Now on to more important things. I have no idea how to do my hair for my halloween costume, I tried to mess with it last night and it doesn't look anything like it is supposed to. Maybe the ladies of the lodge have some hints...I'm trying to get it to go backwards, but not slicked back, like a flowy backwards. All that happens when I try is that it sticks straight up, or it ends up slicked back. Do I need some kind of special hair gel/spray to get it to do that? Hair dryer? I'm stumped. To make it more complicated I need to spray some of that temporary hair paint stuff in, to make it kinda gray. (I'm dressing up as the Dos Equis 'Most Interesting Man in the World")

Buy a wig, shave your own hair off. Done.

This attitude is made of win. I wish I had it.

Just got finished with day one of Intro to Claims Management. Now, I work at an insurance company but really don't know the intracacies (sp?) of the actual business - it's why I'm taking this course - and I feel totally lost as there are Risk Managers, etc. also taking the course and they speak the language (for lack of a better term). The instructor is actually pretty cool, and she let us go a half hour early because she could tell we were fried. Well, I definitely was, can't speak for the others.

If you had 2400 miles in the "How far will Twitch's new Jeep go before he has to take it in for something" pool, step up and claim your prize.

Nice little rock ding at the edge of the windshield that is starting to spread.

Thats just getting it broken in Twitch.

Had the crack looked at - a little large to officially repair, but they filled it to stop the spreading. We'll see if it holds.

Picked up some Rain-X Latitudes to cheer myself up. Best windshield wipers out there, expensive but absolutely worth the money.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 124: End of season: Which hockey table will you be at?

I think I figured it out. Hair drier and lots of hair spray at the same time as some silver/gray paint. Also food coloring is working awesome to darken my complexion a bit. I think I can actually pull it off now that I figured out the hair. :)

Went to downtown Detroit today. Walked the riverwalk and stopped for some cheese cake the astoria bakery. Food of the Gods!

Maybe I will take shirtless bob up on his 5/3rd burger challenge. Would have to train for it. That burger is a monster!
Was actually thinking about taking the burger and splitting amongst whoever I was with... no way I could down that monster by myself.

I think I found how Sloe Gin plans on carving his pumpkin this year...

Evening, Lodge. Checked out a job lead today; yeah, it's as a line cook at a sports bar, but I'd rather be a line cook than hawk dog food to the same customers day in, day out.

So it was a good class?

Wow. Someone flipped the switch to fall. It's going to be 35 tonight and 36 tomorrow night. That changes potential plans for tomorrow night.

It's already 33 here and heading down to the low to mid 20s - after not hitting the freezing mark at all this fall.

A burger like that, you gotta go all in to eat it. Nobody gives you credit for eating half.

No scarring the pee out of the little kids coming around trick or treating?
I look forward to seeing all the bugs frozen in place tomorrow morning.
Thats one way to get all of the cockroaches out of your apartment.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 124: End of season: Which hockey table will you be at?

Trick or treat is Sunday here, I think. I was kicking around going to Hudson to watch them wreck Reading, but I'm not going to stand there and freeze my *** off. I did that two years ago at Onsted when they got smoked by JLC.
