Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 124: End of season: Which hockey table will you be at?

Thoughts and prayers would be appreciated from everyone... PB and I's little guy Bauer got hit by a car tonight. He's at the vet now... on painkillers & antibiotics. Vet said the first hour was most crucial, and he made it through that. He's got some nasty road rash, can't put much weight on his hip, and a bloody nose. Said we'll figure out a game plan in the AM.
I wish I could have just slept in the kennel with him, he's never spent a night alone... :(

:(

Good luck to him and you two.

You have a strange sense of awesome, my friend. Would you like some Hpnotiq too? Maybe a Seagram's Cooler? :p

why? because 4 loko gets you drunk for $5? on my second, definitely a little buzzed and I'm less than 1/2 way through. This will be a successful night.

A handle of Karkov vodka gets you drunk four times for $2.50 each, but I don't drink that either. ;)

No kidding. Even when I WAS in college, I at least drank a respectable crappy beverage: Mickey's! 40 oz for $2 (even the Mickey's Ice was the same price) or the mooshine-bottle version (made only briefly): 64oz for $3.

Hell, even Colt 45 is better than what 4Loko supposedly tastes like.

Morning lodge. I think I'm getting sick. Except, instead of the cold starting with the nose and working it's way down to the chest, it's starting in the chest. Gross.

Yeah, I could write you one, do you want it in crayon or not??

I think crayon gives a resume and/or recommendations more credibility.

Good morning, work is going to be crappy today. I have to tell my boss that we totally messed up a database and that it will probably have to be re-built. Great.

On the good side, we did make our plans for traveling to NC next week. It looks like we'll be there for two weeks and that we have scrapped the plans for Miss Wiggle and I to spend our winter there.

I've always been taught to describe it as total points (both sides combined). However I've met some people who describe it as I did in parentheses, with 2x2 or whatever the case may be. If you're asking what exactly is a "point", bbdl got that one, although I think NY says it only has to be 1 inch if you have atleast 1 point of 3 inches, but I'm not sure without consulting the rules.
Thanks guys. This came up the other day as we had a buck in our front yard. First time I have seen one with a rack -- ever. So, going by what you all have posted it was a six pointer (3x3), but that seems high a the overall size of the antlers was pretty small.

In order to really know much about the rack, you'd not only need points but the height and spread of the rack, also helpful is circumfrance between the base and brow tine and a mention of how even the rack is. For example, the nicest one we've ever gotten in our group is one my dad got aboiut 5 years ago, it was an 8 pointer with a 22 inch spread, 16 inches tall, about 2 inch circumfrance, and within 1 inch of being perfectly even from one side to the other. I think it scored somewhere in the 150's Boone & Crocket, which is extremely good for an 8 pointer.
