In order to really know much about the rack, you'd not only need points but the height and spread of the rack, also helpful is circumfrance between the base and brow tine and a mention of how even the rack is. For example, the nicest one we've ever gotten in our group is one my dad got aboiut 5 years ago, it was an 8 pointer with a 22 inch spread, 16 inches tall, about 2 inch circumfrance, and within 1 inch of being perfectly even from one side to the other. I think it scored somewhere in the 150's Boone & Crocket, which is extremely good for an 8 pointer.
That makes more sense. It was pretty small, but he was showing potential.

Yeah me either. Sounds like I should be back to full strength some time around/shortly after Christmas. Going back for 1 more follow-up January 3rd hoping for a full release back to work at that point.

So what did you have done (I'm old, I forget)? I had my final visit with my surgeon yesterday for my rotator cuff tendon repair. 95% healed, good progress, 5 months post-op. Unfortunately he asked me how the other shoulder felt, poked and prodded to show that one is tender in the same spot:(. The same structure that wore through the right side tendon poses a risk on the left too. I'll have to watch it carefully.

Sorry to hear about Brauer - hope he's OK. Leash your dogs folks! There are reasons they shouldn't run free around people and cars!

I just got a fax passed on to me that came from a BU engineering grad. The equivalent of a cold call only by fax. He didn't even find out who would be looking at engineer resumes. He has no experience or specific training in our field.

You would think their placement service would train them better in how to look for a job...

Vegas trip is BOOKED!

Going with my buddy Bacon, so it should be a helluva good time. We found a sweet deal that we had to jump on.
We will be leaving Thursday, December 30th, staying 3 nights and coming home on Sunday January 2nd. All of the feedback I got was to not spend much on a highly rated hotel, since we won't be in the room much at all, but we did want to make it a point to be right on the strip. I found a package with airfare and 3 nights at Excalibur for $650, including all taxes and fees. Which seems like a pretty good deal, considering it is New Years Eve, and the going rate for a room on the strip for that night was averaging about $400. Now we just need to figure out if we want to go to any shows, or spend money to go to any of the New Years Eve parties. If anyone else wants to go, get a flight, you can crash in our room! (for a small price or a couple drinks)

G'day Loj! Menu item on the office lunch board: Monte Crisco sandwich. Hmmmm....sounds greasy.

Ha! Placement service?! You're funny! Sadly, most BU grads of my era are woefully unprepared for the real world.

My car passed inspection. :)

Does anyone know what OBD stands for? It's one of the things that they check for.

Edit: Never mind. All I had to do with Google it. :o

My guess would be "On Board Diagnostics" but I really don't know for sure.

Horse**** day.

I'm done posting here during the work day for the foreseeable future. I was reading a post here at lunch and then, kaboom, out went the lights, and I got the blue screen of death. I tried to re-boot. Blue screen. Go into safe mode. Blue screen. Restored the operating system. Twice. Blue screen. Twice. Hard drive fried like eggs over easy. Boss not pleased. Hammer less than thrilled.

To be fair, BU did teach me how to navigate subway tracks, steer clear of Boston rats, and how to step around dishevelled drunks sleeping in ATM vestibules.
