Mmmmm. Pepperoni rolls sound good.

They are phenomenal. Last year on the trip to Houghton, the Midget brought up an order to grill during tailgate. Yep. :D

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 124: End of season: Which hockey table will you be at?

Evening all. Too wired to sleep right now. Good day with another GVSU win, sealing a playoff spot with a home game in the mix for us. I just don't have any idea right now if its this week or next weekend thanks to some idiots in Mankato knot knowing how to clear snow off of a football field, that will get played at like 10 in the morning in a different stadium than what it was suppost to be at today. So I'm Cranky about that. Other than that, good evening as well, stopped at Birch Run and after much searching, I found the Uniform Outlet store and picked myself up a good pair of scrubs. Lady there eyeballed me and picked out just the right sized ones. I was impressed.
Didja stop at Tony's while you were in Birch Run? *drool* mmmm Tony's steak sandwiches.

Mornin lodgerinos! Heading back to the doctor tomorrow for a 6 month  post-op check on the shoulder. Getting better, most of the range is back (except some pinching at the top, and behind my back) and my strength is FINALLY starting to come back. Not as strong as I want it to be but at least there is a noticable difference from the last time.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 124: End of season: Which hockey table will you be at?

Does anyone remember of thread in the cafe several months ago about TV? There were comments about 120 Hz vs. 60 Hz, LCD vs. LED, etc. Because the new version of vBulletin doesn't bring back older posts, I have been unable to find it.

Edit: I am not really asking if anyone remembers the thread. :D The real question is can anyone locate it.

I parked right across the street from Tony's, but I really wasnt hungry at that time. Right before the game started at Saggy, one of the player Parents brought out these huge sweet rolls out, and I pulled off a hunk of one that was about the size of your head. I should have broke it in half, but it was pretty good so I ate it all, then felt kinda queasy for most of the first quarter. beer and sweet rolls are not that good of a mix. I found a spot down in fron on the saggy away side that didn't have a whole lot in front of it just in case I needed to have a reversal.

You were near TWO Tony's and didn't stop?! SIEVE! You coulda had it later. Did someone bring Hilltop Sweet Rolls? Big as a baby's head!
Ps. Sorry I didn't get back to you last weekend, we wound up driving in & out for the game in GR the same day.

Afternoon, Lodge. Never been to Tony's, but the Hilltop's sweet rolls are amazing, especially when fresh.

No, the Mom of one of our last fairly healthy DL makes them at home from scratch she said. I can see how the lad got to be big.

Your loss for not getting back to me.

GVSU hosting Colorado School of Mines next week. Their campus is located next to the Coors Brewery. Then, if GVSU wins, its off to Sioux Falls, South Dakota, then most likely Duluth again.

I also saw that Maritime there made the playoffs for D3 Football. I think as a third seed, good for them.

Butternut squash-pork loin-apple cider soup, with a whole wheat "seeduction" baguette from Whole Foods for dinner this evening. Bon appetit y'all and have a pleasant night.;)

Don't go on the Coors tour. It's a boring walkthrough with one of those handheld speakers.

Instead, head an hour north up I-25 and pay a visit to New Belgium. They refer to their buildings as the "Mothership" and the "Thunderdome." That's all you need to know about them.

Paging Scarlet! Attention Scarlet!

From today's NYT:

Passengers Push for Child-Free Flights

Thanks for posting! Glad to see it's not just me. This quote aggravated me:

As a parent, I would be pretty annoyed if I were forced to take an 8 a.m. flight instead of one at noon.”

Oh really? How about being forced to listen to a screaming child? That's not annoying?

This. And they have a slide.

Noise cancelling headphones, have Santa get you some for Christmas:D

One more reason I need to road-trip to Denver. Or better yet, fly to Denver, visit all the breweries from there to Albuquerque, then fly home.

Sloe: did she hack the brewmeister?

Ummmmmm..... GVSU is hosting Colorado Mines, the Orediggers come to Allendale. Don't think I could really afford to go to Colorado even if GVSU was going there. I might even be able to go to Auggie next week should we win out.

Bull****. Why should I have to shell out money for those? Not too mention, you can't sleep with them on.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 124: End of season: Which hockey table will you be at?

You can if you've had enough martinis.
