You know **** well what bar I'm at.

I hope Jon Campion gets hit by a bus and the Westboro Baptist Church pickets his funeral.

Check your texts.

EDIT: I'm not sure whether I like your * hockey text better, or mine. Yours has the creativity, mine is a bit more unsubtle.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 124: End of season: Which hockey table will you be at?

Sometimes when you're ****ed off, there's no room for subtlety. When I'm mad, I'm about as subtle as a 2x4 right between the eyes.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 124: End of season: Which hockey table will you be at?

Jon Campion whistled Michigan Tech for ONE HUNDRED AND THIRTY FOUR penalty minutes.

For those of you who remember the ****show that was the first game of the original Invasion, that's more PIM than both Tech and NMU had COMBINED.

ETA: Not counting the minutes from the two game misconducts, 57 PIM. JFC.

Compared to four minutes for UMD. Four.

Any good places to go for a post-game drink? Heard a rumor that T's/973 is closed? I'll be down for the game next weekend.

How can t's be closed... Granted I havent been there since 2008... But that's a BU establishment if there ever been one... So close to Walter Brown... That isn't too far from Agganis

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 124: End of season: Which hockey table will you be at?

Denver-6
Mankato-1

The Pioneers sweep. Another solid effort by Sam Brittain in goal.:)

Evening all. Too wired to sleep right now. Good day with another GVSU win, sealing a playoff spot with a home game in the mix for us. I just don't have any idea right now if its this week or next weekend thanks to some idiots in Mankato knot knowing how to clear snow off of a football field, that will get played at like 10 in the morning in a different stadium than what it was suppost to be at today. So I'm Cranky about that. Other than that, good evening as well, stopped at Birch Run and after much searching, I found the Uniform Outlet store and picked myself up a good pair of scrubs. Lady there eyeballed me and picked out just the right sized ones. I was impressed.

Morning.

Pretty outside. Went for coffee and to pick up some household items. The snow will be dirty gray gunk by tomorrow, but nice for now.

The original T's (the one you would have gone to in 2008) closed last year and didn't reopen until after hockey started. It reopened as 973 Commonwealth Ave and they had changed the decor to be more "club"-y (took down all the sports pix, etc). Stuff went up in price marginally. It was owned by the original owners son.
Recently, I heard that 973 had closed and that there was now nowhere to drink post-game again. Good to hear that we have a place again.

T's re-opened yesterday. New owners. Old name.
Just in time. Will be down for the game next weekend. :)

Good morning. Just home from church. Hazlenut coffee is brewing with Belgian waffles and crisp bacon almost ready for plating.

A terrific weekend for my favorite teams as the Pioneers swept Mankato with freshman goalie Sam Brittain continuing his strong play.

In college football, the Air Force Academy beat New Mexico 48-23 on Senior Day at Falcon Stadium. Air Force raised its record to 7-4 for the season, clinched a fourth consecutive winning record under coach Troy Calhoun in as many years, has one regular season game remaining this coming Thursday in Sam Boyd Stadium against UNLV, against whom the Falcons should raise their record to 8-4 before going to a bowl game next month. Job well done gentlemen. With victories against the Rebels next week and a yet to be determined bowl opponent Air Force could hoist itself into the Top Twenty Five in the season's final polls. :)

GO AIR FORCE! QUELL THE REBELS!

About to head to Old Chicago for NFL Sunday. Pepperoni rolls on tap, along with a beer or two. All on the house, of course, due to the various promos they run. :D
