Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 123: Our polls are going down the tubes

Good morning tLodge. Mr. Hit made me coffee again this morning. It's awesome having a hubby that gets up at the same time I do.

Make sure you think about local, state and federal regulations regarding food sales to the public. There may be some strict guidelines when it comes to food like nutritional labeling, ingredients, etc.

Here in CT my mom had to stop selling her homemade jams & jellies and canned vegetables because of labeling requirements (not to mention all the necessary permits require to be a "food vendor").
Unfortunately, Mark is probably right. Maybe some NH attorney you know can look into when she has some time. :)

Is the site still slow for you guys? The main page is taking a long time to load. And the page to sign up for Extra still doesn't exist. I contacted the site but haven't heard back yet.
I can see the extra sign up page, the link is at the bottom of the home page. However, as of yesterday afternoon, I was signed in but still seeing ads and I can't see my teams' info on the home page.

Morning fellow lodgicians.

Has anyone been able to successfully go to www.uscho.com recently?

Not this morning. No sidebar, no images, just a single commentary story.

The other thing I hate about the site? My spell checker in firefox no longer works because it's treating every text box as a new one rather than a universal text box. I have to click "check spelling" every post.

Unfortunately, Mark is probably right. Maybe some NH attor ney you know can look into when she has some time. :)
Not a big deal, just a thought that it might be nice to earn a little money on the side of my regular job doing something I love. Not a serious "put up a sign thing". Oh well, c'est la vie.

I tried to go to the front page, but it loaded as the D-1 women's hockey page with a blog style article. My 3 teams' information were loaded into the sidebars though and I don't have any ads.

Morning, Lodge. Try to get through the week so that I can go on vacation on Saturday. :)

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 123: Our polls are going down the tubes

When you break a thread and want to fix your post, just go to "view source" in your browser. Search for the offending post and figure out the post number within the HTML. Then you can use the "edit post" buttons URL in a blank browser window along with your post number to fix the problem.

Example: To edit a post the link is; http://board.uscho.com/editpost.php?do=editpost&p=xxxxxxx

The xxxxxxx being the post number you found in the source code.

The source code will look something like this: div id="post_message_xxxxxxx"

You still have to be the author of the post to edit it though. So don't get any funny ideas. ;)

And in this case, the url to edit it would be http://board.uscho.com/editpost.php?do=editpost&p=4891059 ;) (I looked it up, and I think Hammer forgot to close the last < /style > tag.)

There. Fixed. Thank you both.

Now, to go try something else.... :D

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 123: Our polls are going down the tubes

Good morning, Lodge! I have the same problem with the home page - I only get the Starman story. Oddly, however, my old USCHO Extra team boxes show up now, even though I no longer have Extra.

Now if I could only get free ice cream.

Good Morning Lodge.

Yay, the Yankees got pounded!!! :D

I'm supposed to be on my way to Grand Forks, but the co-worker I'm going with had to push it back a day, so I'm still home for today.
