I'm sorry if that music isn't my thing, i wasn't aware that i needed to like the same ****ty eurotrash music that bro gin likes. Given where i'm from and my personality i thought it should be pretty obvious that isn't my thing.

Heard from my realtor, the selling bank agreed to the septic system stuff we proposed. I'm lowering my offer now to make up for the cost of having to replace the septic system. Also, grandpa asked my dad how the house was going, so dad told him about the trouble i'm having with the septic and getting financing lined up in time to get the tax credit. Now grandpa has decided to go to the bank tomorrow and make sure that it gets done in time and is the highest priority, he said he'd cosign on an in house loan until i get the septic done. (Grandpa is on the bank board of directors, and good friends with the bank president, so he has some pull)

I had him at about 12 and 1200. I would have taken someone like Steve Smith or Miles Austin a couple rounds later and potentially have the same stats, though. Better value, IMO.

you've never heard actual good techno music then. Not this crap that they play on KDWB. I'm talking legit DJ's that have following all over the world, including Armin Van Buuren, DJ Tiesto, Paul Van Dyk, etc. I like live music too, but live DJ spinning is about as ultimate as it gets

There's really good DJ's (I'll add Steve Angello (of Swedish House Mafia... they've got arguably the best 2010 hit "One,) Ferry Corsten, ATB, Above & Beyond... theres so many more I could name that have really, really good songs. The really bad ones with horrible transitions and mash-ups are the ones that give the genre a bad name. And no, the techno world is not full of drug abusers and jersey shore fistpumpers.

I hated sports parents 25+ years ago while I was playing in Little League. I can't even imagine what it's like now.

Kid sports need to be about having some playing time, having fun, and heading to Dairy Queen afterwards. That's about it.

I forgot Above and Beyond. Also, I'm a huge fan of Robert Miles and BT.

bb_dl, I understand that it's not for everyone. And don't get me wrong, I really enjoy going to a bar and hearing live music, or to a park and hearing live music. But when I was living in Minnesota, I was hitting downtown pretty much every weekend, going to either the Lounge or 414 Soundbar, both of which I had VIP access. Both of which played some killer tracks that I really enjoyed. Next time I'm in Minneapolis, I'll take you to the Lounge. Face it, there's some beautiful women in there, and we'll drink for free.

I see this when I scorekeep youth games in Colorado. There's one coach who is yelling at the refs before the puck even drops, and it's all he does throughout the game. The kids then think it's ok so they yell at the refs too. It's disgusting. Combine that with the dads and moms who think little Johnny is going to the next Toews or Parise, and it's just sad. I've started putting whiskey in my coffee at the games.

We know the lead female singer in Freezepop- techsyntho band that supposedly did a lot of the music stuff on Rockband or some video games. Googled them after you all were talking in here last night about music and they were the first hit on Google. Does this mean I know someone famous?
