Meh. Plenty of others don't follow that line. Give it where it's earned, if you care to do so.
Plus she already dinged me once when she was acting like a c*nt on here one night and I called her on it. So I don't see why she would bother posting that nonsensical mantra when she already doesn't follow it.

Are you some kind of commie?, that downright unAmerican right there

my mode of transportation involves flying at 40,000 feet, moving at speeds that cars will never achieve, going places that I will never need a car, and requires finesse to not kill people.

Your move, skippy. :p

Then there was the day that I suggested her and Red Cloud make nice at the WCHA tournament or something.

760mph?

I don't know how fast the jets you fly go, its not my area of expertise, but the land speed record is 760MPH.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 120: How do you want to die?

Commercial planes I believe go around 550-600 mph.
That sounds right to me, but honestly, I don't know much at all about planes. The land speed record was supersonic, don't think passenger jets break the sound barrier, except for the old concorde.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 120: How do you want to die?

Depends...what are we talking? Groundspeed? Indicated airspeed? True airspeed? Where's the wind coming from and how fast is it going?

:D

Either way, if it ain't 760, then you have no argument. :p

JF: African or European plane?

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 120: How do you want to die?

So, I've been writing my Emmy diary the last few nights, adn was planning to finish it tonight. But, it's Thursady and I went out, saw hottie bartender, had a new martini they offered, called Ultimate X. It was really good. So I had two, which was more like three because he always makes extra adn I get 1 1/2 each time. Just a teeny bit buzzed. Not nearly as much as I should given the amount of alcohol I drank. Maybe because I spread them out over 4 hours instead of two. Got home about 10. I'm in no mood to finish the diary, but I'm doing my Emmy presentation at work tomorrow and I had planned to hand it out. I really just want to go to bed, but I think I need to plow through the rest of the show.

Just pull an all-nighter. I recommend a fruity energy drink + vodka. You'll get really creative, and not tire out.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 120: How do you want to die?

Does bbdl have a chance at driving the vehicle that set the land speed record? No. Geist wins.

bbdl never claimed to have that opportunity, while Geist blatantly claimed that he flies vehicles that go faster than any car could achieve.
Box.

The land speed records have been set using aircraft engines (I believe one was actually just a modified F-4)...once again, Geist and air travel win.
