Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 119: Legands of the Foopers

Evening Lodge. This could be a rather stressful week at the sfis house. Mrs. sfis goes in for follow-up to a mammogram tomorrow. They said they wanted to check an area on one of her breasts that didn't look normal. Great. Then on Friday I go in to see a doctor for a spot that looks like skin cancer. I had a spot removed a few months ago that he said was a "pre-cancerous" growth. Can I fast foward a couple weeks?

Lots of mammograms get over-read and follow ups are often necessary which turn out benign. Sincerely hope this is the case here. As far as posible skin cancer-well over 95% are Basal Cell and Squamous Cell Carcinomas which are rather routinely handled unless they have been neglected for very long periods of time. They are close to 100% curable. Your only concern would be if they suspect a Melanoma or the incredibly rare Merkel Cell tumor of the skin. Since you were seen a few months ago and evaluated, really doubtful something very serious has arisen in the short period of time. Just make sure you are seeing a board certified Dermatologist-try to avoid being evaluated by anyone lesser trained. Best of luck to you both.

Morning Lodge.

We had a good weekend. My buddy's wedding was pretty fun. It was a low-key, low-budget kind of operation, but everyone had a good time and I could tell that my friend was very happy, which is what really matters. Aftermath...apparently I am going out with my friend and his wife and the maid of honor next Saturday. The couple wanted to go out with a group of friends Saturday night as one night of the honeymoon, since they don't get to do that much as a couple because they already have little kids.

My local law enforcement buddies said they had a pretty quiet weekend. I hope Alex treated you well. :)

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 119: Legands of the Foopers

I am looking forward to this weekend. Mrs. g and the the boys will be gone Thursday through Sunday.

Friday night I will be hosting a poker party. I have sent out invites and I already have 20 guys confirmed and I expect another 10-15 to be added.

7 of the guys showing up are good friends/family that will be spending the weekend. Saturday the plans include: golfing, grilling, cigar smoking and beverages.

It wasn't a very rowdy crowd and everyone was well behaved. They also had rented a shuttle bus to take drive everyone all night, so there wasn't anyone driving that shouldn't have been. We had a good time in Alex, but didn't really do too much while there, except going to the wedding and reception(which wasn't even in Alex).
Sounds like they got ahead of themselves. :p
My buddy's new wife had a kid before he met her. Her fiance walked out one day when she was pregnant and never came back, completely hanging her out to dry. My friend met her about 4 months after the baby was born and has pretty much been the kid's father ever since. At first I was skeptical about him getting into the situation, but after seeing them all together it seems like he is exactly where he wants to be. :)

Isn't this the basis of pretty much every country song? :p

So she was in MILF territory for him.

Good on him, but if I'm going to have kids, I think I'd rather be the one that did the prep work with the girl as opposed to inheriting other dudes' creations. :p

No, there are some that involve dogs running away, others are about drinking and some are more focussed on the making of the kid (preferably done in a barn, tractor, bed of a truck or with a gun nearby)

Yeah, I guess she was his MILF. :p

I'm sure he'll be doing his own prep work soon, I would be shocked if they don't have a kid together within the first year of being married.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 119: Legands of the Foopers

Best of luck with your situations, SFIS and hockeyplayer1015. :(

Morning! Took the girls to play outside and it's been really cloudy and miserable. Brought Mulan and Beauty and the Beast over -- thank goodness!
Hope everyone had a good weekend.

Monster, please tell me that you spelled "Legends" wrong on purpose.

Good morning Lodge (good afternoon to you east coast posters).

I figure I should probably start reading/posting in here. No good reason. Just have time to kill.

But....but......you haven't maxed out on rep! Isn't that the rule? I'm so confused.
