People have been breaking that rule for awhile, so I don't know that it's been enforced very well. I blame Ralph.

I think he can post, but he has to wait on all of us and no bacon or Margaritas for him.

There's a maximum number of rep points you can get. And the amount of rep points you give out depends on the number you have. That giving amount reaches a point where the only way it increases is because you have added another year of membership to the board and/or you add another 1000 posts (I think it's 1000).

That's how someone with one green chiclet can suddenly have a bunch of green or red chiclets: someone who has a lot of rep power gives them good/bad rep.

the number I wrote above which is 2^31 - 1.

rep power = floor(rep/100) + floor(posts/1000) + floor(days member of USCHO/365) + 1

negrep power = floor(rep power/2)

Naw. I needed sleep and wanted to slowly go back to "the real world." Most of Fri and Sat were just as much work as fun, given all the crap I was responsible for/helped out with.

Actually, I keep that formula in a User Note. User Notes seem like such a worthless feature of VBulletin. Does anyone still use them? Does anyone remember where they are?

That big bright spot in the sky, it is called "the sun", not to be confused with legal's "the sun", which is, by my understanding, a female human being.

Yeah, I remember reading through some of the first incarnations of this thread and seeing the formulas. I just wasn't aware of this "rule" :D
