**** It **** wasn't **** supposed **** to **** rain **** in **** 703land **** today ****.

on that note... dear america... can you please mow your lawn? Long tall wet grass on the national mall... ugh.

We won our kickball game... that's all I need.

edit: actually, I need to start drinking pre-game... I find all my athletic ability comes when I don't think... when I do think... forget about it.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 119: Legands of the Foopers

It shows my age but Nigella Lawson is my earth goddess. Giada lost my interest when her melons changed after her pregnancy. :(

I'm soon to be 32 and think Nigella is definitely ****able FWIW.
If Giada is 1, Nigella is 1A. Amanda Freitag is 3, Aida Mollenkamp is 4, Claire Robinson is 5, and Cat Cora is 6.

Evening, Lodge. Had a reasonably good day at work, followed by a great fish dinner and Burn Notice on TV. If this keeps up, I can leave the AK in the closet...

So a guy who graduated HS a year after me passed away today (probably 20 y/o). I didn't know him real well, but it still makes for a somber day, especially when I have lots of mutual friends with him. It's gonna be a tough week for a lot of people up my way.:( I haven't heard any story on how it happened as of yet.

Evening Lodge. This could be a rather stressful week at the sfis house. Mrs. sfis goes in for follow-up to a mammogram tomorrow. They said they wanted to check an area on one of her breasts that didn't look normal. Great. Then on Friday I go in to see a doctor for a spot that looks like skin cancer. I had a spot removed a few months ago that he said was a "pre-cancerous" growth. Can I fast foward a couple weeks?

Good morning Ralph, MEUsa and the rest of tLodge! Rainy morning here on the border of 203/860 land.

First day of the new schedule, I need some coffee. Luckily I can actually have some today as I was able to stop taking the meds I was on yesterday. (drugs that raise your heart-rate and caffeine do not mix).

Good luck to her - if it's malignant and they caught it early, thankfully, it's a very treatable cancer (unlike some other really bad ones like pancreatic).
Then on Friday I go in to see a doctor for a spot that looks like skin cancer.
Good luck to you. Fortunately, most forms of skin cancer are also very treatable.
