Got the papers back from the sellers of the house. Now we can move forward with the mortgage. Everything is going smoothly so far, hopefully it continues this way. Maybe I'll actually get into the house by the end of the month.

I'm starting to put together a plan for the huge bash at my place. If I can get everything done in the next week, we can have it next weekend, but the better plan would probably the weekend after Labor Day. Mark your calendars!

Nice! But don't get your hopes up too high, there always seems to be one unforeseen snag that holds up the closing and such. When we bought our house we were ready to close, but the lawyers couldn't coordinate their schedules, plus they postponed on us once, annoying. Hopefully this doesn't happen to you, but set your expectation low so when it works out you'll feel less.......postal.

I apologize. The salsa was indeed awesome. It was the jalapeño from hell that made me want to forget. I havent even tries to put my contacts in yet.

Morning, Lodge. Not working today as I had originally had some plans, but they've changed due to some unforeseen circumstances. Now I get to enjoy the day by myself and continue to clean up, unpack, etc. I might watch a chick-flick while I'm at it. :)

I like it a lot - and put "The Suburbs" somewhere between Funeral and Neon Bible. Mrs. Gonzo puts it below both, but basically is only going to be happy if she's listening to "Wake Up".

Huh? This post confuses me. What is Upper Midwest Arcade Fire? Do I get to watch stuff burn?

Arcade Fire = a band
Roy Wilkins = a venue
Ticketmaster = crap
internet = obsolete according to Prince
9/22 = a date in time or a fraction

I've had a couple of pork butts on the grill, with some mesquite, since about 11. Shoudl be ready to pull around 4-5 and dam it will be good. :D

I'd stop by (well if you had beer also), but I've already made my one trip per year to St. Paul for 2010. :p

So I shot what I think is my career best today, an 85 with 7 pars and a birdie. Tripled a par 5 because I couldn't putt on that hole (tripled it last week too). Otherwise I played pretty darn well, everything worked for the most part, although I would like to have a couple chips and putts back. Either way, I'm pretty happy.

Who allowed you to into St. Paul? I thought there was a ban on you? :D
Beer is a given. Some Spaten Oktoberfest, some Smithwick's, and a Schell's variety pack. :)

I noticed last night that one corner of the screen on my Storm was starting to act really funky. Whenever I clicked that area, it thought my finger was on the other side of the screen. I took this as the first indicator that my Blackberry is finally starting to die. I'm pretty sure mine lasted much longer than most of them did, so I won't complain. I am at the point where I can get a new phone at the cheap price, so I went to Verizon over lunch and ordered a Droid X. It is supposed to take about 3 weeks to get here.

Also, I don't have anything to do tonight, so I will probably be going to my favorite bar downtown. If anyone else is bored, come down, remember, there are some pretty awesome bonuses about going there now. ;) I am planning on not going until later in the night, as an attempt to trim my bar tab down a little bit.

Oh, a band. Never heard of them. Must not have enough twang for my tastes. ;)
