Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 118: BoredboredboredBORED

I got a bunch of paperwork back from the bank that is selling the house. I have to sign a bunch of places and send it back. Next week we can do an inspection and i'll be getting my mortgage finalized next week also. Pretty soon I'm going to own a house.

I'm hoping to be closed by the end of the month, so maybe a big get together labor day weekend, or if people are busy then, the weekend after. :)

Yikes! The dates and times for grading and tryouts are up for our hockey association. Seems too early to think of it....

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 118: BoredboredboredBORED

WOOHOO!!! Totally rocked out my NMT practical today. Scored a 98 on it which is DAM good on that test. Was kinda mad about the 2 points I missed on it, just didn't quite use the right techniques on 2 of the 6 random muscles they gave me to work on after my routine. If only I had started studying a few days sooner..... But I digress. Either way, a good day overall for me. Not so much for my partner who brainfarted a bit on his practical on me. they gave him Semitendinosus, and he worked Biceps Femoris, which is the hamstring that goes to the other side of the knee than the Semi's. Was so mentally screaming that at him so that he could catch himself and recover those points.... Oh well.

Celebration time Beytches!!!! Barkeep! Margarita's all around!!!!
Congrats!!

Awesome; let me know how you're managing your anemia... I need all the help I can get.
I don't really have much good advice yet. I started taking the slow release FE again, which is what I think helped. (I had stopped while in the hospital) I am also trying to make sure my protein intake is high enough along with my fiber.

This getting up early stuff is for the birds, now I'm programmed to wake up earlier and earlier. I need a nap:D

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 118: BoredboredboredBORED

:p Good morning boys.

GOOD MORNING EVERYONE!! friday is here. i will say yay at the end of it.

It is not good to start out grumpy before you wake up:( Last night I looked at today's schedule. I am covering the office by myself this afternoon. The stupid (as in my IQ is less than what should sustain life) receptionists have me completely booked with pts until 3:15. No openings. They put appts in for things I do not do. They put patients in that should be seeing the other NP. They looked at the afternoon schedule which says in a big red bar- nothing but sick visits and put in 2 physicals and 3 non-urgent visits.

I should not have looked. I have been stewing since last night. No lunch for me:mad:   And PS, the office manager (new one) is completely useless. She should have looked and fixed it.

'Morning, Lodge! Up somewhat early for a day I don't work in the morning to get in my last half-marathon long run (or, at least at a distance I haven't covered yet in training.) :) 21 days and counting until my race!

Morning Lodge

Yay, its Friday!

Going out for some drinks with some buddies from high school (and that means probably their girlfriends too  ) tonight. Then we're going up to Alexandria (gmann territory) tomorrow for another high school friend's wedding. Should be a fun time. :)

With the group that will be at the hitchin', I'm sure its already on local law enforcement's radar. :p

edit: and this is going to be far from a city slicker event. This is the same group that combined guns, old race trucks, beer, AC/DC, a 1981 motorhome, and a 2 mile dirt track last weekend for a bachelor party. And it was awesome.

Morning Lodge.

Who wants to go to New Hampshire with me on Oct 16th?

My friend just bailed, despite having agreed 2 months ago. It's the same weekend as the Detroit marathon which his wife and sister are running, but he should have already known that.

grrr. stupid cancellations. Anyway, the trip I was planning was going to be Boston on Oct 15th to watch a hockey game at Northeastern. Then to UNH the 16th to see Michigan play. I am sad now. :(

Maybe I will stay home and go to the football game, it is homecoming so I can get a cheap ticket and play on the field.

morning Lodge. After a hellacious start to the month, I finally am in a stretch of days off. We have our Olympic triathlon tomorrow morning that my parents are flying out to see. Then we're catching a Rockies game tomorrow night.

Finally, get to enjoy some summer. :)

Morning Lodge. My dock is floating this AM. Only got about 1.5" of rain last night, but after the 2" the other day, the pond is almost up to the garden. Hope more storms either get done early or hold off till late. Planning on going to the Twins' game tonight.

City Slickers? This is bb_dl and his high school buddies - the guys who buy everything at Fleet Farm and still have hay in their hair and **** on their boots. ;)

Morning Lodge.

And you are?

All that stuff sounds like great fun except the part involving Michigan sports.

Not to mention that the bride and groom are probably cousins if in fact they are from his hometown. :p

Good morning from DayOfVacationdayLand!

Went to see the Serenity & Dr. Horrible's Sing Along Blog showing last night with some friends, I had never seen or heard of either befoe but my neighbor was a fan of the FOX series. Serenity is not a bad movie and Dr. Horrible is really funny, plus it was an interesting crowd. Interesting in a nerdy Rocky Horror Picture Show kind of way. :)

Teaching my daughter how to ride the city bus to/from school this morning. Sounds boring but the upside is breakfast at the Copper Dome! Yum.

Irish Fair weekend in St. Paul, should be fun. :)
