'Ewe and I went to a buddy's for dinner last night. For dessert, he roasted some giant marshmallows over a gas burner, and we wrapped the gooey-ness around a piece of dark chocolate, then wrapped all of that in a strip of brown sugar glazed applewood bacon.

Soooooooooo gooooooood.

Good morning. Driving home last night at around 10PM from Woodbury to St. Paul I needed one of those James Bond The Spy Who Loved me Lotus Esprit. :eek: :cool:

According to The Weather Channel it's currently 76 in capital city with a dewpoint of 73. Lovely.

Good morning Lodge. I'm currently sitting at a Denny's for breakfast. I am the only one here. I don't think I've ever been in a Denny's that didn't have any people.

Took a walk this morning thru Chinatown and found the Golden Gate Fortune Cookie Company. It's this little hovel in an alleyway. They have these old Asian women making the cookiesn folding them, etc. And this old Asian guy overseeing it and collecting money from people that were taking pictures. 50 cents. And you could buy bags of cookies. We bought two bags.

Did you get the ones with the Foo Ling U fortunes in them?

I like the unfolded fortune cookies that are still warm that you can sometimes get.

Friends of a friend were living in China for a couple years (worked for local BIG corporation and were on placement there). They had a big dinner party for other ex-pat Americans. They had to ship fortune cookies over from the US. They couldn't find them in China.
