We have a cheap *** architect as an owner. We can recommend all the fixes to the 25 year old system, but if he won't pay for them the bailing wire and chewing gum only goes so far (a commercial system like this has an expected life span of 15 years).

We have a cheap *** architect as an owner. We can recommend all the fixes to the 25 year old system, but if he won't pay for them the bailing wire and chewing gum only goes so far (a commercial system like this has an expected life span of 15 years).

Come on, you're engineers. Pool together $1000 worth of parts and make the system better than the original by modifying it.

Just returned from visiting friends in OK City. Hot and humid, but a lot of fun. We're going back again for the 18 Sep Air Force/OU football game in Norman. It would be nice if AF made a game of it, but that's hard to envision!

By not living in Greensboro. If it makes you feel any better, NC has been hotter than normal this summer. It's usually a bit more bearable.

I would like to take the little g's for a train ride. Do any of you cityslickers have any recommendations to a tourist trap that offers train rides?

Otherwise you could just take the Light Rail from Downtown to the Mall of America. It's a train! There is even a tunnel that it goes through at the airport.
