Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 117: It's The Dog Days of Summer

I am currently in cityslickerville. Went to the Twins game last night and I am currently sitting really close to home plate with a cold beverage in hand. :D
You suck.

I am currently sitting really close to a computer screen with gametracker on.

I'm sitting about 6 blocks from home plate with a cold beverage in hand (Dr. Pepper). :D

I know. Great seats in an awesome baseball park. Perfect weather. I am on my fourth cold beverage. Dinner plans tonight at one of my favorite eating places ever. Satying at a hotel within a short walk to everything. Don't have to be back to work until next Monday. :p

They don't require a phone line anyways. Plus all the new boxes can use ethernet connections for on demand stuff.

I would bet you could have as many locations as you want, but they would probably charge you more for them being in physically different living spaces.
I think JF is right, you can have more than one location on your account, but they are probably going to charge you as if it is a different account, not just an extra receiver. Which is partly why (the other reason might have been that someone wanted NESN) when Mr. Hit moved to NC he might have forgotten to tell DirecTV that the new box he bought was being used in NC with a dish he might have gotten on Ebay.

I'd wander down that way after work and buy you another cold beverage, but it sounds like you already have a full schedule. :p

Hooters sells beer, I am sure he would let you buy him a drink there to go with his dinner. :D

Last night we closed down the Irsih pub. (Kierens? sp) Awesome night to be sitting outside people watching enjoying a cold beverage and a cigar.

I don't suppose that, as Queen Emeritus of the Board, that I could ban all mentions of cold beverages until Maggie arrives? :( A cold beer sounds sooo good right now.

No? I didn't think so. Carry on.

Anyone want to live with me? For cheap...I mean, really cheap. I found a place that has 4 bedroom, 4 bath apartments, close the U campus, for $600-$700. Total. Yes, that is like $200/person after utilities.

edit: nevermind, I knew it was too good to be true. Apparently this place is the only one this website that lists their rent per person, not for the entire apartment. Not such a good deal anymore.

How did you end up going to Manhattan? (Assuming that you did.)

took the Q33 bus from my hotel to 82nd street, hopped the 7 line to Times Square, walked up some stairs and wallah. :)

Something tells me there will be a ground stop here though.

Thunderstorms?

Actually, you walked up a lot of stairs since the number 7 train is about 5 levels down. :D

You are also a high risk roommate. Not sure how many takers you will get when you are actively trying to move out on them.
