Meeting up with 'ewe tonight at Revere Beach. I chose tonight instead of last night because the rain was supposed to start earlier last night and be done earlier today. Now? Not so much. You'd think I would know by now to always add on about 6 hours to any forecast. That's about how much they're off by usually. 'ewe - I'm still planning to meet up with you. We'll see what the weather is doing later on.

There's a covered area across from Kelly's, and the rain will keep the crowds away (and trust me, even if you don't mind the people while walking around, you'll hate them while driving on the boulevard).

Is that a weather report or the codes to bomb the Russkies?

I wonder if people still think I have it good. If people only knew everything that has happened over the last 3 years. I've held alot in. I made a ton of sacrifices for both jobs and in the end I got crapped on by both of them. As the saying goes no good deed goes unpunished.

It's going to take awhile but I will land on my feet.

This time yesterday I never thought I would be unemployed typing up emails while my car was been looked at/fixed. Life sure throws you curves balls.

That which doesn't kill you make you stronger. Right?

Let's see how many more catchy sayings I can use to refer to the situation. Just trying to keep my sense of humor. I find that often laughter is the best medicine.

How is everybody else doing? What have I missed? My last job was keeping me really busy so I didn't have the time to read/post on here.

'Morning, Lodge. My delayed weekend is over, and I'm back in Marquette. Came home to find a box from home. In it, among other things, was the paperwork to renew my driver's license, and my old ring that I'm going to attempt reselling again. Ugh.

So, the proverbial brown smelly stuff has hit the oscillating piece of equipment. Major re-org announced today in the business unit I support. Not sure of the fallout. While I don't think there is anything for me to worry about, I'm still somewhat freaked as some of my internal clients are all moved around, one lost her job.....it's very tense on their floow.

And...sending me to NoDak tomorrow wasn't enough - I have to drive to WisconSIN today for a project interview. One of our Principals decided to clean his in-box yesterday. Found a letter inviting us to an interview for a project in Tomah at 2:30 this afternoon. Good thing he cleaned the in box yesterday and not today.
