Gotta let the newbies get work in on people as well. You can give em all the book work you want, but they won't get good until they get their hands on some bodies.

Meh if I didnt depend on it some much I wouldnt mind, plus I have had enough bad rubs to last a lifetime. Probably why I havent been super proactive about finding someone out here.

Although US Air just sucks overall...I like staying on the Frontier side of Republic operations. Mostly because I stay in Denver. I think Quiz and I are going to try to cycle today, 100 degrees be d*mned!

Hi all, I made it back from the DMV, only took just over 3 hours to transfer my license. But I'd rather wait than have to take the written tests (one for the car, one for the bike) that I had to take in NC.

I would love to convert my licence with just a simple test. In illinois in order to keep my CDL I need to show up and do the entire exam again. So I havent converted my licence yet. Only state I know of that requires that, and it kind of makes me wonder what the heck is the point of having a federally regulated licence if Illinois is going to scam people out of it. No reason at all I should have to give up my licence if I have a clean record and I can pass a written exam.

Of course I am being stubborn about it, I just have to go up to Delkab and borrow a bus, but still, its friggen lame.

Add me to the list of the unemployed. I could really b!t(h about how it went down but what's the point?

That sucks, I didnt realize you had changed jobs (been real busy for me lately and this thread can be hard to just pop in and follow).

Also, we got our wedding photographer!!!!!!!!!

Its hard to find the right one, and watching my friends pull their hair out trying to find one is pretty much the reason I started doing them.

This time yesterday I never thought I would be unemployed typing up emails while my car was been looked at/fixed. Life sure throws you curves balls.

That which doesn't kill you make you stronger. Right?

I was actually on an overnight in Oklahoma City when we got the news that Lynx was shutting down. I posted a hateful message on facebook, then went to get some greasy, nasty, disgusting food. It was the only way to cheer myself up at that point. I'm convinced though that life is tossing us knuckle balls.

Let's see...it ain't over until it's over. You get out of it what you put into it. It's not the size of the dog in the fight, it's the size of the fight in the dog, gmann sucks, keep the train on the tracks, give 110%, take it one day at a time...any I missed?

The photographer was one of the hardest things for us to book. (the hardest was the DJ).

this is the photographer we've had our eye on since we got engaged. She's pricey, but worth every penny. Her photography is goregous and she's pretty hot, too.

In terms of the DJ, my old personal trainer is going to do it. He spins now in Minneapolis and said he'd be honored to spin for us.

Now we gotta get a venue and we're set.

Our school does have some ties to a school out in Chicago. The head of our school worked a lot with some of them over there back in the day. I would have to assume that they're pretty strict about what students get into their clinics. Have to pass about the same amount of stuff that I did just to get into the clinic with paying costumers. I'll poke around and see if there's one you should try over there.

Need to get out of work as soon as possible, I'm hardly able to keep my eyes open because I'm so tired. Was up at 4:30 to leave for the cities, and had to drive through some pretty ****ty weather. But it appears that brent has worn out that topic for the next couple...forever.

It always saddens me to hear about a girl having to deal with bad rubbin'.

Its hard to find the right one, and watching my friends pull their hair out trying to find one is pretty much the reason I started doing them.

What's worse is that you could find one you like, but find out after the fact that they are sleaze-bags. Happened to a friend of mine (Nick). Dude took the pictures, the money, and then disappeared. They ended up getting state authorities involved; their saga made the news.

So I find the whole "John Stamos in the UP for trial" kinda funny... it's a "Mystery, Alaska" type experience to read about the community's reaction.

Canceled my cable TV, and found that I will be saving a whopping 4 dollars per month. Wooo.

Yeah, the basic cable costs about $20/month, but because I had that, they gave me a discount on internet. Yeah, I don't think that was the agreement I signed up for. Of course, neither was having "Xfinity" shoved down my throat.

CSR asked me why I was canceling. I told her I never watched it (which is part of the reason). She asked me if I had a TV. I almost wanted to say, "Actually, no. That's the real reason I'm canceling, but I was ashamed to admit it. You caught me."

As soon as True Blood ends I'm whacking way back on my cable bill. I hardly ever watch it, despite my awesome 42" TV and surround sound. Can't justify the bill anymore. Especially when I can just connect my computer to it.

Now I'm curious. There's only one photography I've heard 'ewe express dislike for, and if it's that person, I'd have to agree with my better half. I'd also have to dispute your notions of "pretty hot".

Sorry if I didn't express my opinion about her - I'd been studying for 6-7 hours. I did look at the pictures and think she'll do a great job. They're really beautiful.

Checking in here - another hellish day of studying. Tomorrow is the end of the semester. The next semester starts Monday. This whole cramming 12 weeks of material into 3 weeks is really tough! o

Dude, I need all As (A- are okay, but really, As). Whatever it takes to get those is what I have to do. School is my primary focus right now until August 5th.
