Good morning. Temp is heading for triple digits in Denver today. I'll be keeping a glass of iced tea within reach. ;)

Airbus 310. I was on an Embraer 190 on Saturday. I think those are the only two kinds of planes that the shuttle currently uses.

nope, not me. You can't blame my company for this. :D

Although US Air just sucks overall...I like staying on the Frontier side of Republic operations. Mostly because I stay in Denver. :D I think Quiz and I are going to try to cycle today, 100 degrees be d*mned!

Uh, mixed feelings here... I may have to go to Grand ****ing Forks on Thursday evening and won't know until sometime Thursday afternoon. We may be getting an interview for a replacement hospital in Warren, MN. If we do, the interview will be Friday and we'll learn about it Thursday. So we'd drive up Thursday night and practice the interview Friday morning then on to Warren for the interview.

I'd like to work on this hospital, but I don't want to ever have to go there. Talk about East Bum****.

Finally have a few days off, so I'm getting caught up on a lot of schoolwork.
Yesterday, I finally actually moved into my room after living out of boxes and such for about 3 months.

Such productivity!

Yikes! Just learned we laid off 6, not 3 yesterday!

Going to go from not enough to do to not enough people to get things done.

Corporate America for the loss.

Corporate America for the loss.

While technically a corporation it's an ESOP with like 40 owners so not really like GM or GE.

Hi all, I made it back from the DMV, only took just over 3 hours to transfer my license. But I'd rather wait than have to take the written tests (one for the car, one for the bike) that I had to take in NC.

When I got my license in Maryland my California license had expired so I had to take a written test. I needed to take a skills test to keep my motorcycle endorsement and didn't have a bike at the time. So now I have no MC endorsement. :(

That's not good. :(

NC required the written test no matter what. They could have asked for a driving test, with which I would have had the same problem you did, I didn't have one at the time. For that matter, I can't take one now either, I think I'd have a hard time reaching the handle bars. :p

Temos are high 80s/low 90s here. Got the iced tea and coffee ready.

Afternoon, Lodge. Finally heard back from the gastroenterologist's office today... I have an appointment scheduled for the 27th. Here's hoping they find out what happened...

And my first attempt at roasted beet chips failed. That is, unless you like them blackened.

I love both Longhorn and Texas Roadhouse. Longhorn has an awesome shrimp and lobster dip. Everytime we go there Mr. Hit and I say we just get the dip and a salad and call that a meal.

if you want shrimp and lobster, go to Red Lobster! ;) ;)

my youngest Ethan tells the woman and texas roadhouse when it's time to order, "i'm just going to eat the nuts and bread with butter". :D :D

When I'm at the Weathervane I'm all "appitizer platter please"... probably not now... not that I like fish and that stuff now... too much fried stuff :)

mook... so the Texas Roadhouse is pretty good? Mom has asked me to kick something to them for their anniversary due to the miserable job situation and home and my dad's unemployment checks ending. Obviously, from this distance this eliminates anything non-chain and they aren't going to haul across the earth for dinner.

Obviously I'd like to have my parents go some place pretty good (not Applebee's)... your thoughts are appreciated.

So, none of these posts talking about the restaurant did anything to shed light on the place?

Yeah. I had the biggest ribeye they serve, smothered in onions, shrooms and cheese with shrimp, loaded mashed potatoes, caesar salad, cup of chili, 4 dinner rolls with that awesome sweet butter and several platefulls of peanuts.

And I am just going to sit here. I think I'm probably going out somewhere tomorrow night with the guys from the university that I'm working with. Besides I'm just enjoying having a tv at this point.

That place is the devil! I ate until I was almost sick on Sunday.

Now you know how I felt when I was there with you and ShirtlessGuy. I didn't wanna move.

I love Texas Roadhouse! Their rolls and butter are phenomenal.

baked sweet potatoes. need I say more?

No "almost" here. I am feeling sick. But it tasted sooooo good! (plus the bill went on the corporate card)

Only been to Texas Roadhouse once (with a buddy and his now ex-wife), but I do love me those rolls. Forget what kind of steak I had, but that was good too.

I love both Longhorn and Texas Roadhouse.
