No, the one near water tower is a longhorn. I'm not a fan, they have small meat offerings. Texas roadhouse is in front of the lowes that was built near the walmart on 117 off I190.

Back to reality. After 2 1/2 weeks of managing to be by the water, swimming, sailing, going to the fair, etc back to the grind. Sigh.

I am at LGA and 2 1/2 hours early for my 10 AM flight to DCA. Of course, they want to charge an exorbitant amount to get on an earlier flight. Years ago, they were only too happy to get people to use empty seats because they perhaps would get someone else to use the later flight, but that has changed. At least Verizon has free WiFi here -- they don't in DC.

Morning Lodge. We had two layoffs and an encouraged "retirement" yesterday. No one in my group, but still not good news in a ~35 person firm.

Over the weekend I bought a Groupon for 5 weeks of classes at a Yoga studio. Yesterday the PT said I shouldn't try anything like that till 3 months after the surgery - that's when I can bear weight on the arm. Fortunately the Groupon is good till like October and 3 months is September 1. I also bought for my wife and son though, so they'll be done with theirs about the time I can start. Was hoping we could take some classes together.

Hi All! Just checking in before heading to the DMV to get a Connecticut license. If I'm not back by five, could someone send out a search party?

Yeah. I had the biggest ribeye they serve, smothered in onions, shrooms and cheese with shrimp, loaded mashed potatoes, caesar salad, cup of chili, 4 dinner rolls with that awesome sweet butter and several platefulls of peanuts.

And I am just going to sit here. I think I'm probably going out somewhere tomorrow night with the guys from the university that I'm working with. Besides I'm just enjoying having a tv at this point.

That would have fed me for three days, maybe four.

Oh? I can trade ... knowledge of the human body, particularly the skin, skeletal, skeletalmuscular, and nervous systems. (I've been studying most of the day.)

I love both Longhorn and Texas Roadhouse. Longhorn has an awesome shrimp and lobster dip. Everytime we go there Mr. Hit and I say we just get the dip and a salad and call that a meal.

When we fly to LGA on the US Air shuttle, they have us pay the non-discounted fare (it's a specific line item in a drop down that pops up when we select LGA) so that we can fly on an earlier shuttle if needed. I've used that twice in the last month. Very helpful.

When we fly to LGA on the US Air shuttle, they have us pay the non-discounted fare (it's a specific line item in a drop down that pops up when we select LGA) so that we can fly on an earlier shuttle if needed. I've used that twice in the last month. Very helpful.

They actually let me on the 9 AM flight because the weather was supposedly getting bad. Someone came walking around saying anyone on a later shuttle to Boston or DC can get on the 9 AM ones. So I went to the boarding station and the woman said "I told you an hour ago that your ticket won't allow it." Then she looked at her monitor and it was allowed. I still got an aisle seat. The flight was less than half full.

Airbus 310. I was on an Embraer 190 on Saturday. I think those are the only two kinds of planes that the shuttle currently uses.


I just checked and both the 10 and 11 departures from LGA are still awaiting takeoff.
