This poll actually was created to separate the dumb people from the smart ones. How?

a) It's implied that the only off-season that matters is hockey off-season. Those who think this is a trick poll, like you, UncleRay, aren't bright enough to realize that.

I got one of the jobs!!!

It's only 25-30 hours a week to start, but they're supposedly close to signing some big clients and it could be full time by the end of the year.

Good Afternoon, Lodge!

Long, busy day at work. They are prepping me to be the department supervisor while the current supervisor goes on vacation for just over a week so I am learning everything. It is like taking a final for a class that you never attended or seldom showed up to. I look at it this way, in a few years, that department is mine.

I have a question to all the Minnesotans (because I still hold residency in that state)... My husband was dropped from his insurance (note, we are with the same insurance company of State Farm) and we are thinking about getting a combined plan with both cars and renter's insurance. Any good companies? I would keep my separate insurance but because Mr. wore Black has been dropped, he would be an additional liability on my current coverage. Also, we are combined on the Renter's insurance. I just want everything through one company.

Ugh - I'm a whole season behind! I only caught intermittent episodes.

I'd be in the same boat but they post the entire episodes on Fox's website. So I just watch them there when I have time.

Left work at 2:30 and went to non happy hour at the bar (Brits). Sat on the patio and drank Guinness in the sun while looking at the pleasant scenery (ie. gals who were not the wait staff).

Just looked at my bank account... I'm getting half as much of a monthly interest payment at my current savings than I did when I was a 5 year old with ~$200 in the bank. That just can't be right.

Yeah, had torrential downpour, lightshow, and marble-sized hail (although the hail only lasted a minute or so).

Mine saved my laptop, printer, DVR, TV, PS2, and lamp during a flood when the water hit the outlets and fried the whole house...
