Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 115: What sports do you watch in the off-season?

as compared to MTU which probably doesn't need a 4 digit number system

 A university of 7,000 students with 41 graduate programs (not counting certificates) and a whole bunch of undergrad programs doesn't need a 4 digit numbering system for classes?

No, it doesn't. I graduated from one like that without the grad programs. And the grad school doesn't need the 4 digits either.

I went to Lowell which claims anywhere from 6000-12000 students. I still think UConn went to 4 to avoid future issues.

This.

Evenin' folks. Spent a great day at Jenna's. Actually in Jenna's pool. Because it was hot today. Very. Now I'm home, put the A/C on. Made my lunch, packed my stuff for tomorrow, though I'm still trying to figure out what to wear. Because it's going to be hot AND humid. And that should make for just a fabulous T ride in the morning.

Bob - have you ever had that kind of level?? What causes that? What fixes that? Take care of yourself!!!!!

I've enjoyed this 4-day weekend. I really am not looking forward to work tomorrow. I think I might try to take this Friday off as it will be hot and sunny. Hopefully I can swing that.

Saturday here was brutal (about 90 with a 70 dew point), but the last two days the temps haven't been too bad, but that dew point just won't go down. :(

hey, i need you to do me a favor....

can you call/email that guy you serve with that i won a round of golf with?

the paper that was in the envelope just reads, "congratulations" where the other gives me a phone number to call the guy who donated it. so i won this prize and i've now no way to collect it.

if you could get my phone number to him and let him know to call me, i would appreciate it very much.

thanks baby.:D

The number of students at the school is non sequitor to the conversation. The argument wholly rests on the variety of course offerings. To that point, there really only needs to be a single department in need of a four-digit numbering structure with enough pull (say, at Tech, the engineering dept), and it'll force the other programs/colleges at the university to comply as a matter of adherence to structure.

You want him to call your cell? That's the only number I have. And you're talking about The Captain, correct? Just want to make sure before I contact him and realize your talking about someone else. :)

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 115: What sports do you watch in the off-season?

It's a miracle I still have all my teeth.

Played golf this morning. The first 9 went okay. I hit the ball like steamed **** on soggy bread, but scored halfway decent considering that I was yanking everything about 40 yards left. Got on the 10th tee and hit one into some trees. I got there and didn't have a shot to the green. I took my 5-iron to punch the ball out. I hit a root, the club turned, and I lined the ball off of a tree and straight into my cheek. It took me a couple moments to make sure I was okay and still had all my teeth. My brother-in-law made sure I was okay, and then started laughing hysterically. I'll be goddammed if I didn't rifle my next shot off of another tree and almost took his head off.

The cheek is still a little sore. I'm not completely certain that I haven't cracked a tooth. Anywhere else in the face and I would have done a helluva lot more damage.

It stung like a *****. It's still a little sore, but not too puffy.

Nice title on the FFL team.

I'd still keep an eye on it.

I didn't think the name was spectacular, but it did in a pinch. Might change it, but only if I can think of something better. Dunno how I didn't think of something like your FFL name. :o

Mine was either that or something about Lohan's new girlfriend, or Lady Ga-Ga's dick.
