Yeah, I've figured out the pale ales are really hit or miss for me. There's rarely an inbetween. Stouts, porters, wheats, almost guaranteed I'll like. The fruity beers (the ones with allegedly "hints" of [insert fruit]) are also hit or miss. I don't mind a hint of it, but sometimes their hint is my "holy crap, is this wine?????"

found two mushrooms growing in the apartment... yup, my stupidity is going to cost me this time.

I poured water on the floor a couple of weeks back to "get moisture into the air" yes, that was stupid... since I've been trying to dry out the areas I put down... less then a glass worth. I found 2 mushrooms growing along the wall but along the wall... not really where I poured the water.

since the "watering" i've been putting down towels to get rid of the moisture... but no dice so fare.

Any idea how badly I screwed up?

...did you go to SCSU? :confused: ;)

It shouldn't be a problem, I don't believe. Tell your landlord about the mushrooms, not the glass of water... and next time, get a humidifier. :)

I had the same thing happen to me once, in the bathroom of an apartment I was renting. It was an interior bathroom, so it had no external ventilation except for the door. The moisture from the shower simply built up, and I eventually spotted a couple mushrooms growing in the cracks between the floor and the wall. Since I was moving out a week later, I just cleaned them up and didn't bother to come up with a long-term solution.

At SCSU, we would have eaten the mushrooms and wondered where we screwed up. ;)

I wasn't born with common sense... that's why I needed the degree ;) :( It was like 1 am and I was dry as heck.

Yeah, that's the plan for now. I'm due for some really stupid stuff every few months.

I dunno about MI, but in MN you have to have either a window or a fan for ventilation, per law.

Oh it had a fan, but it was one of those crappy little fans that are supposed to clear the air after someone takes a huge dump. It wouldn't have sucked up all that moisture from the shower.

Well, it's a fan. Same as I have here. I usually start it up about 5 min before I turn the shower on. Although, I rarely use it, because it's not really useful unless it's unreal humid.

Morning, Lodge. Up slightly early, so I can check to see if I'm going to run into road closures today. :o

EDIT: And yes I am - looks like I-35W is closed for a good chunk of my route. :mad:

sweet. We're setting up a boxing ring in the tailgate parking lot. I still call dibs on either being the referee or the Teddy Atlas of the fight. GLM is obviously doing ringside announcing.
