Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 114: Who gives a...

Got around to taking Brent's advice and took the back seat out of the Jeep. All it is nowadays is a squeeze bar that disengages the brackets, no tools needed. Still heavy as a mofo, though. Glad my apartment has an elevator.

I parked it ahead of my couch in front of the TV. Stadium seating!

It's a Jeep thing. You wouldn't understand.

Like I said, the backseat is useless. Hardly any legroom for any person back there (even someone like MEg), and it doesn't leave a whole lot of "trunk" space to haul stuff.

And yeah, it is a Jeep thing. Chances are, I won't own another kind of vehicle (unless I win the lottery and get a 2nd car, etc ;) ).

Well, I don't spout that out on purpose. And I don't do the stupid wave thing that I've seen Jeep Wrangler drivers do. :p

Yeah, the bag that holds my removable hardtop is supposed to be tethered to the upright backseat. With the seat folded up, it's hard to cram it in the back flat along with my emergency kit/extra fluids.

I've been trying to do it, but usually most others aren't paying attention. Plus there's kind of some thing going on with that where the older modded Jeeps get more respect. I have a stock new model, so I'm low man on the totem pole I guess.

My dad rides, and they all wave at each other. Apparently Corvette owners do it too.

I haven't seen it much in the last couple of years, but the first few years I drove it around, I saw it more often than not. I didn't know what the heck they were waving at. My brother had to clue me in. :o

I think Twitch should go to Fairbanks. There's an attractive brunette nurse in their urgent care center.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 114: Who gives a...

They should've spelled center with the same creative flair they spelled cobalt.

This is a bad time to have run out. That stuff would really come in handy right about now.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 114: Who gives a...

I wrenched my back lifting something today. To say the pain is blinding would be a bit of an understatement.

:( If it doesn't get better- Chiropractor. Saved me more than once. Good one right across from the Dracut post office.

Thanks. I just pulled it or something. It'll get better. But until then, time for self medication! :D

Seriously though I'm a guy. Unless my arm is about to fall off, I'm not going to see a doctor.

Today there was a tour of my college (which is Michigan Tech and is known for being a heavy drinking school) going through my dorm. The tour group turned a corner to see a very drunk person with only a sock on his privates trying to climb the walls by putting his arms and legs on both sides of the hall while singing the Spiderman theme song. I hope this persuaded the prospective students to come here. MLIA

Why are you still at school?

Morning lodge

Great day yesterday. Put in a horseshoe pit, Mrs. Gonzo made spaghetti and meatballs from scratch and the oldest and his GF gave me Twins tickets. :)
