I do believe so.

Yep - modern FJs are Japan's way of saying, "We can make a vehicle every bit as ugly as a Hummer H2!" I don't mind the 50s and 60s versions much though, but again I'd rather have a Jeep.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #112: Son of "Filling in for the night shift"

shoulda let him and then walk... "say, well, thanks for conferring with your manager and I appreciate the offer but I need some time to grouse it over with the wife/girlfriend. Can I get your card in case I need to get back to you?"

If you have the power to walk you have the power to string the salesperson along too... you're dealing with two things... information and confidence. The only pressure is your own time... how soon do you need that car?

we all know that cars, similar to but not identical to houses, is a haggle game and a personality game. Yeah, they'll try to hit you another way... just part of the game.

I needed one within a couple days (but no, they did not know that). The guy I bought it from sat me down, worked out a deal (no "manager" bs) within 15 minutes. Even during his "upsells" there were some he said weren't worth it, except for the necessity/feeling of extra financial security. Think: many of the extended warranties on electronics stuff at Best Buy/whatever, things like that.

I plan on being a hard sell when it comes time to buy. No reason not to really.

Exactly. Back in the day, it was just haggling to make both parties happy. Nowadays, info is the power, and there's no shell games to be had, if you do your research.

That sounds like it could be an opening scene for a rather unsavory movie.
He's a rather unsavory dude, actually.
You also could have said, "So does my boyfriend." Or, "Sorry, not single."
Yes, but I don't want to create any issues or weirdness since I'll be taking that bus quite a bit over the next month or so. This way, situation diffused, not interested based on gender. :p
'ewe, the only way I could see liking similar weather being a starting point is if both people like doing things outside. Using it on its own without tying it into outdoor activities is just stupid, though.
Exactly. If he had said, man, I like skiing/snowboarding/hockey (none of which would be viable given what he looks like, but I'm not judging), I'd have been less annoyed about the whole thing.
Not hot here anymore, it was 90 when I left for baseball, by the 5th inning I wished I'd have brought a coat with me. Once the wind flipped off the water, it cooled down
AMEN! I just walked home and it feels about 20-30 degrees cooler than when I left at 4!

Heading home from the gay job, then going out one last time before the party pooper arrives I think he's a little more excited about the extra day than me :p. Then again, you probably would be too if you were staying at a sorority.

Exactly. If you walk in with the numbers on a sheet, they don't bother haggling.

I know lesbians that get hit on for the very reason that they are lesbians. A lot of guys will try to connive their way in for the chance to say they banged a lesbian.
There is no try, there is only do or wuss out.
that sounds like a recipe for broken wang.

I know a guy who's regularly banging a lesbian, but he's much more feminine than she is.

And... ow.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #112: Son of "Filling in for the night shift"

I'm not advocating trying to just jam it in there from the word go. I'm just saying once you decide your going to do it, do it. Don't start asking permission.

Its easier to sleep on the couch for a month anyways.

FYP.

If you have those kind of problems she wasn't the right girl anyways. But regardless, you still f'd her in the ass. ;)
