While I agree that the kids don't have to be babied, there are better ways to teach/instruct.

Sorry, I should have said neither I, nor the parent involved know what the dad coach was yelling since he was on the opposite sideline (senior fields). He may have been very positive and encouraging for all either of us know. I know he's passionate and animated.

Afternoon, Lodge. Aside from my train trip taking 40 minutes longer than expected, the ride down was nice and smooth, Chicago's Metra system is easy to navigate, and there's an IHOP right outside the hotel. Not a bad day so far...

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #112: Son of "Filling in for the night shift"

Hello......busy today.

So for scheduling & usage purposes we had to schedule our vacation balance for the year as we no longer can carry a balance into the next year. I get five weeks plus the almost three weeks I carried over from last year plus a week of personal time - needless to say I have a lot to schedule. Even with what I've taken so far this year, two weeks in July, a week in June, M-W of Thanksgiving week and some scattered days around Christmas & New Years, Memorial & Labor days I still *have* to take off a bunch of Fridays during the summer. Rats. :)

So yes, I spent today trying to figure when I wouldn't be there. :D

Being up is not impressive. Having the marketing done by now- that is impressive!

My 14 yr should surface some time around 9ish. :D

GOOD MORNING EVERYONE!! silly saturday is here.

Making blueberry muffins. Going to sit on the deck and eat a few with my hot cocoa and watch the birds. Life is good.
