Good morning.
I woke up yesterday thinking it was Friday so today most likely will drag on and on and on and on....Ug.

Good morning.

The solution: Take today off and have 2 Saturdays! :D

Unless there is a honeydo list waiting for you. Then try to work OT this weekend. ;)

Hi.

Busier than I should be on a Friday morning with the boss 2000 miles south (long story, not a good one, and I'm not telling), but at least I think I've got enough peace and quiet to get home from here.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #111: Filling in for the night shift

Is it Saturday or a holiday or something? Why am I the only one that showed up to work today?

Yes, it's a holiday! Don't you know what tomorrow is? Fishing opener! You have to drive to the lake today so you get out first thing in the morning.

What are you from out east or something? Any Minn-ee-sooo-tan should know this!:p

I know its fishing opener tomorrow, but everyone I know just leaves after work. :p
Personally, I couldn't care at all about the fishing opener, there are very few things more boring than fishing.

That's just nuts. How you going to drive all the way up to LOW and get enough drinking time in if you leave after work? You must not know any real fishermen. :p

Pretty much any form of hunting/fishing is going to be boring. As it requires either a lot of effort or a lot of waiting and usually very little ROI.

The payoff if you catch anything decent is you get to remove the scales and filet the *'ing thing.

Hi kids. It's Friday - yay! Fun ride in on the T this morning. Got to my stop - it's probably the - for lack of a better term - most popular stop as it's the one most people get out. Pull into the station, get up, wait to get off the train, doors aren't open. The whole car is standing, wating. Then the train takes off. Without letting us out. Held hostage!!! Someone uses the intercom buzzer to let the driver (conductor?) know that our doors never opened. Get to the next stop, which was too far to walk from, had to wait again for some T personnel to figure out what happened and get us off the train. Then we had to wait for a train going back towards Back Bay. Good times.

I have to go to the corporate offices today for the first time since they downsized me last October. One of the users at the mill had their laptop crap out big time and we need it rebuilt asap.
At least I can use it as an excuse to leave early today :)

Not going fishing this weekend either

I don't mind deer hunting, but I don't sit in one place all day, that would be as boring as fishing. The "lot of effort" physical activity that I get from deer hunting isn't really a bad thing.

I'll let someone else catch the dang thing, I'll eat it.
