Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #109: It's the Offseason, now what?
11am is too early for a baseball game.

Not to mention that getting a ticket is probably out of the question.
The whole 'not being able to get tickets for the baseball game' thing sucks. Never had that problem here, until now. When we went downtown for the game Friday night, we knew tickets would be crazy expensive, so we were going to wait until after the game started and hope that we could get some tickets for face value after the scalpers were scared they wouldn't be able to get rid of the tickets. Didn't work.
About 30 minutes before first pitch we walked from the plaza over to Kieran's Pub for drinks, asked scalpers how much, $100 each. Uhhh, no thanks. So we proceeded on to Kieran's, drank until right about first pitch, went back outside to try to get tickets. All the scalpers had left were singles, still $100-$125 each. So we said eff-it and went to Smalley's alley to watch the game. About mid-way through the second inning we walked from Smalley's over to Huberts for food (deep fried Lucy

), ran into a scalper on our way, he had 2 tickets, he still wanted $100 each for them, IT WAS THE SECOND INNING! We had fun without actually going to the game, but the game would have been better.
Oh, I was able to get 4 tickets for Tuesday night for face, unfortunately because of work I can't go. So MNS has the tickets now. Have fun guys, since I'm pretty sure it is going to be MNS, Sloe, Bakunin and Brent going to the game. Tickets were $32 each, if you guys decide to pay me.
