It was, in fact. In other news, Mets-Cards went 20 innings. Lohse was playing LF, and StL had two position players pitch.

And in hockey news, LA just beat Vancouver in OT. What was the score of the Mets-Cards game and who won?

Evening, busy day today in NYC with my grandmother, but a pretty good time.

Lion King on broadway was a pretty good performance. It's unreal the things they can do to make scenes realistic these days.

Ditched my usual bowl of cereal and soy milk for bacon, eggs and toast. Yummy, my blood pressure probably went up 5 points:D

Blackberries were on sale at SunFlower at 10 pint boxes for $10. I bought half a dozen boxes. Delicious! These berries are mid-summer sweet right now. A great springtime treat. I might have to drown a few of them in some French Vanilla ice cream for dessert tonight. :)
That sounds pretty good... either that, or blackberries, graham crackers, and yogurt...

peaches come from a can
they were put there by a man
in a factory down
town
And if I had my little way
I'd eat peaches every day
Sun soaking bulges in the shade...

Yummy.

They were offering free health screenings at work yesterday; my cholesterol was a mere 120.

Morning Lodge. Time to get ready for work...

Conferences on the weekend should be outlawed. Makes your brain drool.

the only reason i'm going at this point is the guilty feeling of wasting taxpayer money by not going (to be fair, i've been there 4 days of 4 so far). I feel like I've had no weekend though I have been out the last 2 nights... its that I lose some of that weekly decompression.

Beautiful spring day in Denver today. My wife and I are hoping to play golf this afternoon as the temperature is heading for 70 degrees. Enjoy your day.:)
