Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #109: It's the Offseason, now what?

I still don't understand my cat, who has to follow me into the bathroom in the morning. Nosy little pervert, he is.

Evening, Lodge. And my fun for 2010 continues; the ball joint went out on my family's one remaining working car, causing the wheel to fall off. I've heard of driving until the wheels fell off, but this is ridiculous...

:( Chin up, 'Bob. Hang in there.

I gather this is the cat named after the director?

I miss your cats. :o It was so fun to see them in Thanksgiving.
Yep, Fellini. If anything, he has gotten bigger since you saw him last, I think he's up to 10 or 11 pounds now.

And if you're missing them, I could always send you a couple. (there's two in Conn, right now). ;)

I was speaking merely from the Sioux perspective...I know you know as far as Sconni's concerned...:p

I don't recall any Siouxage, but then again, I wasn't into hating the Sioux like I do now. That was something that was hidden from my consciousness at the time. :o

Apparently discussion of Brent's sex life killed this thread.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #109: It's the Offseason, now what?

Tax season ended at 4:10 pm, 50 minutes early. There were too many ****-flipping moments today. We wound up writing checks for one client totaling nearly $300K. We've had years where it's been 4 times that much.

My house looks like a bomb hit it. I'll have to deal with that tomorrow. It was 81 today, and now that I've got 3 days off, it's going to rain tomorrow and be 52 on Saturday. Lovely.

*hug* You made it. Have a drink and put your feet up, everything else can wait.

He was pretty darn good at mic-work. :D

Too bad most of his roles in movies have been crappy.:(

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #109: It's the Offseason, now what?

I'm loopy enough as it is right now. I left the office at 12:40 this morning and was back in at 8 to finish up. I had a ton of Mexican food for dinner, as time does not permit for lunch on April 15th, followed by about a 4 hour nap. I woke up an hour ago. I'm tired, but I don't want to go to bed for the night.

This tax season was weird. From the 4 days off to go to Florida in February to not working as crazy hours leading up to the 15th as I have in the past, it was strange. Usually in our office the last 5 days, we go until at least 11 PM every night. April 14th is the worst night. There have been years where I've left the office after 2AM, only to have a 25 minute drive home, and have the alarm go off at 6:45 to go again.

I once got in trouble for saying "turn it sideways, and stick it straight up your candy *pretend sneeze*" over the school intercom for a Junior Achievement ad.

To say that's nicer than UNH's football stadium would be like saying tRalph is nicer than a nearly-but-not-quite frozen pond.
Indeed, and the scary thing to think about Allen's planned stadium is that its would only be the Fifth biggest HS Stadium in Texas.
The system is dumb. In order to be 'certified you have to over use the resources to document what won't change. My favorite it the amputee that has to recert. Last I checked humans don't regerate limbs:p
Yeah, I really loved it last august when I was telling them last about my little incident with the horse clunking me on the head. They turned around and told me that since I reported that I was unable to work, I wouldn't get any unemployment for that week. And if I hadn't mentioned it, would have never known the difference.

is it related to Ceiling Cat??

Yeah, breaking the ball joint does suck. Its fixable if you got somebody that knows what they're doing, and if the frame isn't totally rusted away.

Well, there's always booze!! ;) :D

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #109: It's the Offseason, now what?

Evening lodge. Got my semester project defense done tonight (prof hates the "dog and pony show" and prefers to grill teams with a lot of questions instead). Prof seemed impressed compared to the other teams, so I think we did fine. I also think our budget was a lot more realistic.

Now watching LAK @ VAN. Go Kings! ;)
