Wally -- the grinding tone doesn't change.

I was thinking maybe a CV joint but you need to get that into a shop. Might be brakes, maybe a stuck caliper, if it was a bearing it seems to me it would have screwed the pooch on the way home.

Ok, this is weird:

I was wondering how much it would cost me to commute from my parents' house, the farm, in the case that the house I'm trying to buy gets dragged out past when my lease is up. So I google mapped the route, to see exactly how many miles it is. I typed in my parents' address and it couldn't find it, instead it came up with the "Did you mean to type this:" message. The weird thing is it said "Did you mean to type (last name) Farms?" How the hell does google know this? Its not like we have a website or anything.

Yellowpages and related websites (intellius is another) There's enough information out there... We're bringing in an academic researcher to give a talk about developing survey frames from Internet available databases. All you really need is a good sized research team and possibly some state and city level data requests.

In your case... I'm sure there's gotta be plenty of farm record data to go around.

on my way to work... Still tired but there is some ends to tie up before the conference tomorrow.

Just checking in. Feeling a tad grumpy today, despite having made it to class on time with commuting troubles and having had a large coffee (and only paying for a medium).

Hopefully will be less grumpy after my population biology exam tomorrow.

Bob - How's your mom doing?

What wally said - it's possibly also a pump that's about to self-destruct. If you're lucky, there's just a piece of debris caught in one of the brakes, and it can be fished out.

Morning, Lodge.

It only took the guy a week to figure out that I was calling Chay a girl. :p

But a hot one! ;)

What did you do now? :p
Someone negged me today for the post from last week, when I quoted the picture of the chick in underwear playing hockey that said the Gophers had a new recruit, saying: "When did Chay transfer?"

Girl took it to some dude. Guy said it is the breaks (who needs that?). He'll be able to fix it tomorrow.

Then I get a very insightful "your a retard" rep.

The incorrect form of "Your/You're/Yore" makes that rep awesome.

Psst, "the breaks" is the fact that you need to get your car fixed. What you need to get fixed are the "brakes." ;)

Do Minnesotans pronounce "yore" the same as those other two words?
