Actually, you'd be forced to live here and clean it repeatedly.

MN is paying you not to work, and that money is being taken from my paycheck. It makes perfect sense for me to get something out of this that is actually beneficial.

i almost wasn't allowed to drive into the lot because the groom was outside on a horse.

yeah, I'm thinking RIT or even Miami would have been a better option to cheer for than having to cheer for Wisconsin or BC. At least neither of them have won the big trophy.

I naturally would like to see bc suffer..... But if not for bc being here and me without a cheering interest I would like to see the team with the largest crowd present lose.....

And there are a TON of buckys walking up the street here. Scary numbers. However large the crowd number was Thursday, it is gonna be crushed tonight.

Yeah, would have thought they would have made more noise though, not that they had a whole lot to cheer about.

Thankfully, the RIT fans stuck around and gave me something to do while watching.

If the BADgers were playing Al Qaeda I would maybe cheer for the BADgers. Maybe. And I wouldn't be sure which one is the lesser of two evils.

now an elephant! i would have stayed to watch that. i mean, i've seen horses up close before.

Yep, old tradition. Supposed to be very good luck, especially if you can get an Elephant. Expensive as hell to rent one out for the day though. The thing would have to some in most likely on a Semi, pay the trainer/operator, and then there's the food bill as well for it.

I wish your mom a speedy recovery.

Low potassium is pretty easy to correct - either via supplements or an IV drip.

This could be a dietary problem or medication-induced (some antibiotics cause K+ drops). Les can probably come up with a few other causes of it (unless your mom was doing some intense exercising, I doubt profuse sweating is the reason here).

And yes, my mom is on an IV drip as I write this. Lately, she hasn't been eating much; if you ask her what she wants, she'll ask for an orange or a piece of cheese. If I fix her a full meal, she'll pick at it, but won't eat all of it...
