That was the absolute worst-case scenario. Two teams I dislike, and the final score was a blowout for one of them. I actually started to hope Wisconsin would score just one goal, to end the misery of seeing them blow every chance they got, and then the third period was practically unwatchable.

Just brutal - thank goodness for Captain Morgan Private Stock.

there is one here (well two actually) at the dearborn ritz. one is indian (dot) and when we were returning from ann arbor i almost wasn't allowed to drive into the lot because the groom was outside on a horse.

W T F doesn't even begin to cover that.

Stupid flight prices are not cooperating right now - a few roundtrip flights dropped to $200, but they're either flights involving connections so the trip is like 4-5 hours instead of 2, or they're at the wrong departure time (evening rather than morning).

Good morning. Beyond that I got nothing other than go BC; please kick the snot out of the evil red empire. Pretty please.

Did anyone miss me? eventful week. Felt Yucky all week. Went to a conference Wed and Thur. After my body decided it wanted nothing to enter it via my stomach and if it did it needed to leave pronto, I got fever and chills and found out my primary office thinks you should be seen for an acute abdomen next week, spent 8 hours in the ER before they took out my "nasty" (according to the surgeon) gallbladder. Yippee. Vicodin is good.

The gallbladder rule- 40's fat and fertile. I almost made it out the other end of the 40s- only a few months and I would have been golden.

So did I miss anything? wTW needs to do a recap.

Low potassium is pretty easy to correct - either via supplements or an IV drip.

This could be a dietary problem or medication-induced (some antibiotics cause K+ drops). Les can probably come up with a few other causes of it (unless your mom was doing some intense exercising, I doubt profuse sweating is the reason here).

The Indian weddings are really quite interesting. My cousin married an Indian woman, but they've since split up. I actually was able to have a small part in it, and despite not being able to really understand much, it was neat. Oh, and the food at the reception was to die for.
