I'm making progress towards being at work by 7 every day. Tomorrow I should be here before 7. This plan should help me be able to get out of here earlier so I can actually get 18 holes in after work.

My high school class is having a reunion this summer (the number ends in a zero ). I got an e-mail that the committee has found ~73% of our class and is looking for the rest. That remainder that's missing is about 139 people. Yeah, we were a large class at 817. I recognize some of the names on the list of missing, but that's about it.

Kid is home sick today. Head cold and two late nights in a row due to hockey and soccer . Might be some reaction to being yelled at about grades again too.

Maybe. I just don't know. We were at the tail end. When my draft number was drawn, it was 331 while they took up to about 150 and I threw away my Navy ROTC literature.

Not to late to enroll him at STA & get him shaped up.

Yeah, one of his soccer teammates gets on the bus to STA at 7 AM and gets back at about 6:30 PM, then has 2+ hours of homework. That'd go over big. Hell, I'd rather try to get him into BSM, at least it's close.

So 331 was you draft number I wondered where that came from and.....nice pull.

One of my wife's HS friends is the MS dean at BSM, good guy and not a bad soccer coach. Since the boss is a BSMer our kids would probably have gone there if we lived on that side of town - which never would happen since she is big time rooted in St. Paul.

The Rat leaves the house at 7ish and gets home after practice around 5 and then at least 2 hours a day of homework.

I don't think I ever brought a book or paper home from HS the entire time I was there.

No, like I said, I recognize some of the names, but none are, or were friends. The ones I expect to have done any jail time are not on the missing list.

Yes, I was. But that bears no relationship to the fact that out of 871 people in my graduating class, none of the 139 people missing were friends of mine. I'll likely have lunch today with 3 of the 5 or so from my class that I stay in regular touch with (we meet most Wednesdays for lunch).
