Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 107: Now What??

Hi all! Hope everyone is doing well.

Bob - sorry to hear about your cat.

SG - that sucks about the job. :(

wT - I like the name, you probably can find an Orioles bandana online somewhere.

'diva - Sorry to hear about your sister, I agree with everyone else, it's her loss.

Well at least you considered it
I even ran it by my husband. He vetoed it and then asked who Guy Lafleur was.

Hammer - :p Thanks, I needed a laugh.

BPH - I definitely don't have the time or money to break the lease and find a new place. School is in full swing and I'll be overloading this summer in order to finish with my requirements by September. I'm hoping that I might be able to extend the least (it's up july 31st) for about a month so that I don't have to move in the middle of summer school...plus I haven't made a decision about where I'd move since PA school could start in either May or September of 2011. It's one huge headache that I can't cope with today.

On the plus side, it's stopped raining, hopefully that means they can start pumping the water out of my apartment. I've notified my professors that it is unlikely that I'll be in class tomorrow (1 posts all her lecture notes online and the other, ... we'll see, I haven't heard back yet), so that I can spend the day there tomorrow airing it out (supposed to be sunny and 70 tomorrow). I'd do it later in the week, but I leave tomorrow night for Baltimore for 4 days (spending Easter with the McDowell side of the family).
You don't want to move at the end of August in Boston. Really, everyone moves then and it is not good. If you do want to break your lease, I can help with that. (Yep, my law degree might be useful for something). In any case, I hope you can get everything dried out before you leave for Easter.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 107: Now What??

Hi folks. Off today :) but going to work tomorrow :(.

Went bike riding. The C&O Canal towpath was a bit muddy. I got to White's Ferry and it was closed due to the high water or something. :( I had to turn around. :( Then I got near hme and the cherry blossom watchers were out in force. :(

It was a nice day. :)

Morning lodge

Sorry about your cat Bob :(

:( Sorry to hear that, Bob.

:(

Thanks. I have to credit 'Bando on that one, she's the first one I can remember using it.

'Morning, Lodge. It's going to be almost 70 here today. Throw in that Spring Break starts tomorrow at 3, and I think I'm in for an interesting day at GHS today.

Stay safe and dry, East Coast Lodge Members. :(

Very nice descriptive word there.

ugh. Hang in ewe.

:( Sad to hear Shirtless but glad Devon had a good home!

:(

Good Morning boys!

GOOD MORNING EVERYONE!! wobbly wednesday is here

You're a Manager!!! :p

That's the one at GVSU right?? I'll be going up there for the spring game in a few weeks, want me to deliver a message?? ;)

Sorry to hear about your cat Bob.

Sucks about your cat, Bob. :(

You can do that at a lot of stores in the Upper Midwest too (at least) - Cub Foods and Econo Foods both offer similar deals, as do their local competitors.

Which ended up winning?

I'm sorry, Bob. :(

Also - good luck to you and the apartment, 'ewe. :(
Thanks everyone for the kind words; they are appreciated. :)

Afternoon, Lodge. It's too nice of a day to spend it inside moping about. Granted, my mom may be sick and there's too much to do, but a little sun never hurt anyone (except Dracula).

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 107: Now What??

I'm slightly confused.
Several thermometers have recorded the MTU temperature at 74.
Global warming??

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 107: Now What??

Did I really just run outside in shorts and a t-shirt, and then complain after about how it was too warm? I am in the UP, right?

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 107: Now What??

Just left green bay, heading back to MSP. Have I missed anything since about 9:00 last night? :p

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 107: Now What??

Morning, Lodge - shorts  in March   in Minnesota   :D

Sometimes I forget that the weather here isn't shyte the whole year round. Even though it's been warm for a while, there's still a few giant sheets of ice/snow underneath some of the bridges. Wonder how long it'll take them to completely melt.

There's a solution if it's still too warm... ;) and you could jump in Lake Superior too!

Either they'll melt here, or just float downstream to New Orleans. But if they're on land, they'll probably be gone after this weekend's rain for the most part.

Yup - done it too many times. I haven't decided what to do about the lease yet. There's still *a lot* that's up in the air, so...

No one has commented on this yet? I guess 'ewe was hoping for more than 2 or 3 inches. :D
Hammer left me a pretty funny rep about it. :p

Stopped by the apartment after school today, 99% of the standing water is out. Now it's a matter of getting the place dried out (the bathroom floor looks like someone mopped it). There's more stuff on the floor than I'd thought. I'm skipping psych tomorrow to deal with it and then heading to campus for my stats class and then off to the airport. *sigh*

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 107: Now What??

I'd leave Diva in jail for awhile. Girl's gotta learn her lesson.

And seriously, my mouth hurts. :(
