Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 107: Now What??
Lovely photo of me up in the show yourselves thread, taken by the lovely Winger. enjoy.
Even if I am lame and dont stay for both days.
Yikes!! Get out the swimmies!
Yeah I was talking to my parents over the weekends a couple of bridges have washed out in Bridgewater, friggen nutz.
You're not?
Speaking of lambs, I had my monthly checkup today. The little one is doing fine, and has a nice steady heartbeat. Next week we go to the specialist for pictures!
Are you preggers? If so congrats, I missed that.
If not....sooo ummm, red sox?
I have a question for you and any other Hockey East fans that care to comment... what is the speed of play for most HE games? My friends and I noticed for both the Bemidji and Miami games that it almost seemed the refs couldn't keep up with the play. They seemed out of position a lot which my biased opinion believe led to poor calls.
Winger, it was nice meeting you. Sorry my friend spilled ketchup on you. I think he just wanted you to lose the pants.
HE just like other leagues have some teams that will provide you a quick game (BC, UNH, UMass before the holiday break), and then other teams that will just wear you down, PC, NU. So I didnt really notice a change in the pace of the game.
I did notice the refs were really panting in terms of keeping up. Which is weird, I have never seen them struggle like that before.
Althought I stand corrected and I cant believe I said that Bunyon is one of the better ones. I cant believe I blocked out how bad he is. I cant tell you how many games (and what a larger portion of them in Maine) where Toot just lost his mind that Jeff Bunyon was involved in.
That being said, he generally calls the game equally bad on either side, so while he may not be favoring a team, he can certainly slow the flow down and make it seem like a field hockey game. ( Have you ever watched field hockey, just about the team the game is about get exciting they blow the whistle, and then do weird stuff like run into the net and then back out if it.)
THis yr it seemed like there were a few ref pairs that couldn't get out of their own way. Lots of puck hitting them as it tried to go in or out of the zone- way more than I ever remember before~positional errors.
I think honestly they are adjusting to having 4 refs on the ice. Honestly I dont see the quality of officiating improved with the second ref on the ice, there is only so much room in the offensive zone to go to. I would rather they go to a 3 man team, and maybe 2 of them refs, or everyone call call penalties, because 3 men can cover the area, but there are rules both offical and unspoken as to what linesman can actually call. Plus with the 4 man team that is just another fat ***** in my way on the ice.
she did not have pants on!!!! gotta be a lie!!
On occasion I do wear pants, but I am not really happy about it, hence why I didnt care that I got ketchup dumped on me. And this time it didnt turn into a fight in a bar with my ex fiance, like the last time I had ketchup dumped on me, so that alone is a big win!
