Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 106: My Team I Do Deeply Dig

I'm firmly behind the Bemidjis this tourney. If St, Clooud pulls off a miracle and actually wins a tourney game, I might pull for them (I can't yet, since I want the streak to continue). But I don't know if I could stand this message board if St, Clooud fans actually had something substantial to brag about, ****, they're insufferable when they only have tourney appearances to talk up!

I think it goes without saying that all of us with no dog in the hunt are in favor of the Beavers. Especially when they play the ugly helmets. :D

CC to ASaaG: I think I have to cheer for RIT today. I always liked their clothes dye. Used to use it for tie-dye t-shirts back in the old days.

Actually I just found out that a friend we sit near at some Gopher games is the aunt of a RIT player. So we have to cheer for him. Also, my son's coach this past season is a RIT alum. If the Pie-in-ears beat the Tiggers, I'll get behind them in the next round.

Goldy, I've been waiting for someone to make that reference. We two, along with Ralph, may be the only ones in this thread old enough to remember RIT dyes. :)

::raises hand::

My mom still uses the red to dye her eggs for Easter.

Just got back from our department outing. We went bowling! Now my thumb and pinky fingers are sore, as is my writst and my upper arm. Glad I work for an insurance company. Workers comp claim???!!??!?? :)

N00bs out in full force in DI. I turned one red this morning.

Boo. This is the only time I will ever root for Cornell, and only because the ECAC really needs to win a game or 2 to gain a little respect. Cornell certainly can do it, although I'm not sure Yale can.

. My dad and my brother have degrees from Cornell as does my Nephew and his wife. Still rather see them go down:D

Hi everybody.

Normally I limit myself to 1 beer at my Friday lunch. Today I went out with a new group of people (co-workers from a different building) and the one guy's son is GM of the bar we went to. So, the son bought us a round. Who am I to refuse free beer, especially when it's yummy like Bell's Porter. mmmm.....Bell's Porter.

So, lightweight wT is feeling happy now. 2 hour lunch, a couple of beers and then the one co-worker picked up the check. free lunch. free buzz. hockey soon

Go RIT!

Mmm....Bell's. I'm partial to the Two-Hearted Ale, myself. That stuff is delicious.

RIT makes a product that ups the SPF of clothes, called sun guard. I do my clothes every spring in it. Fair skinned kids burn and I've been burned enough in my life:D

How the hell did you hurt your pinky bowling?!?

Two-hearted is a little too hoppy for me. I prefer my beer like my men: tall, dark and in the palm of my hand.

Dear wolverineTrumpet,

I am finally starting to feel better. Please don't make me sick again.

Love,

little g
