I have a brother-in-law and a sister-in-law who were adopted. From Korea, so you'd expect they stood out a lot in rural Minnesota 25 years ago. Except! Once, their phone rang. It was another parent they know. They wanted the folks to know that their little 7-yr-old came home fighting mad. They asked what was up. He say, "Some bullies on the playground were saying that Jessica and David were adopted. So I told them no! Cause they're not, right?" Now, aside from him thinking that "being adopted" was by definition not cool, it was funny and sweet that he accepted his friends as being part of a family, no questions asked.
Oh well. At least now I have no reason to follow it any more.
It's Friday night here, and as a favor to you all, I'm sending it your way.

Odd coincidence, my youngest cousin (only 9 years, 3 months older than me) went to school there.Yep, St. Cloud got bounced in the Semi's tonight by Indiana University of Pennsylvania, Home of the Crimson Hawks. IUP is one of the schools that had to change their team names due to the NCAA policy that UND fans are oh so in love with. IUP also demonstrated the importance of doing a google search before you spend a couple million ordering new jersey's and uniforms.

Pulling this one back from last night because I'm frustrated...
the way things are going back home its going to be like the Bundy's... "that's it, you're in the will"... "NOOOO!!!!!!". *sigh* Things are really becoming a mess back home just as I'm trying to acclimate to this new world.
I personally like being an only child. Means I get everything when my parents die!
Pulling this one back from last night because I'm frustrated...

I'm not surprised. After seeing you, who would want to try another?
We'll be in their neck of the woods next week. Visiting the in-laws in and around Wilkes-Barre Thursday-Saturday of next week. I checked the Baby Pens schedule and they'll unfortunately be on the road when we get there.
I'll be out of this for most of the next week. Decided I did not want to lug a laptop along on spring break. Might post from blackberry a little, but it's too cumbersome for me to do it regularly. I know, you'll all miss me terribly.

I just stumbled upon Twins-Red Sox tickets for the first series at Target Field!!!!!! Face value on the Twins website! Don't know how I pulled it off, there was supposed to be a lottery to get these tickets!
I'm a bit excited....who wants to go to a Twins-Red Sox game on April 14th?

In roughly five hours the puck drops for the start of the NCAA tournament with the first game being played between Denver and RIT. I'll be cheering loud and long for Denver.
I hope your team is in action this weekend. Even if it isn't I hope you get to see some terrific hockey either on TV por in person.

When I go down for a cup of coffee why do I always get in line behind a purse digger? "That will be $1.68" So this dumb broad decides to dig in the bottom of her purse (which is the size of Vermont) for the exact amount.....in loose change.
