Hello Lodge.

Life is busy. Puppy gave me shin splints. She is very calm inside the house, but once outside she wants to pull mommy on their walks.

Anyone want to dog sit for me? Michigan wasn't supposed to play so well. Now I have to go to Ft Wayne and find someone to take care of my dog.

gmann, sorry to hear about the kids. I hope they get better. I also hope the Wolverines beat whoever that CHA team is they're playing this weekend.

No - you can't rearrange the order of the business system applications menu so it "makes more sense to you" (three years after go live)

Sure, but at least 'that guy' (;)) was talented. Seth Soley idolizes Sean Avery, but unfortunately all he picked up was his mouth. At least Avery can score a few goals here and there.

BSU does not have a chance. Make sure you tell the team and the coach that BSU is lame and they should be looking past BSU in playing miami. miami will destroy uah because uah is 100 times lamer than BSU. ;)

michigan - 45
BSU - 3

For those of you keeing score from home........little g is ok. Early stages of pneumonia as I expected. Caught it early enough to stop it before it got bad. However, if BSU loses to michigan little g is likely to get worse. Much worse. wT do you want that on your conscience? ;)

We saw a ton of deer between M-26 and Bruce Crossing both going to and coming from the F5 this weekend. It was insane.

So, the Wii Fit has boxing. And it. Is. AWESOME! :D

I can be a wolves fan, and well enjoy regional hockey....which really I am used to since my team sucks. It was just easier when they sucked from the start of the season, rather than getting my darn hopes up.

Be warned I am not really friendly while I am shooting, Its kind of crazy time, especially at the NCAA where I have to beat someone back for a photo hole or running around to get back to some ill placed press area so I can submit my photos. But after I accept people buying me beer, roofies or not.

No worries Winger. Trumpet already has an offer to watch her dog for the weekend. Just depends on if she can find something a little more convent for her or not perhaps. Either way, that angle is mostly covered.

And personally, I perfer to mug for the camera before games, and not really worry about it during the games, unless the game is a real yawner. ;)

OK, I have to pose a question to the Lodge, but especially to anyone here who has older, "grown" children:

Do you ask or expect them to "check in" after travelling?

I guess I can pose this to the Lodge as a whole--are you unmarried, young people of the Lodge expected to check in?

Yup - Usually within a few hours of getting in, I'll give my parents a buzz and let them know that I'm safely at my destination. The only exception is tcbg's house (about 45mins - 1hour away by bus/train) since it's not always clear in advance whose place we'll be staying at for the weekend. My parents and I usually talk once or twice a week just to say hello and catch up. If more than a week goes by, one or other other of us gets worried.
