Uggh!!!! This weekend was Rough. Class Friday, Saturday, Sunday, bright and early at 9am. But we got our first taste of Myofascial release, which seems to be fun, and with my big meathooks, I could be really good at. But adding on top of that running down to the Joe for hockey and then back home to crash, well, lets just say I'm glad that the CCHA doesn't do the Super 6 format anymore. I don't think I would have been up for a hockey game tonight.
And we also got to do psoas releases today as well. They've been telling us about this technique and we've all been wanting to try it out. Pretty cool to do it, and it was **** near a religious experience to experience it being done on me. The Psoas muscle runs from the front of your lumbar spine to your leg, and to reach it, you go in slowly thru the lower stomach. I kinda lucky that my partner for that was a little asian woman who just couldn't get thru my abs, and had to have one of the instructors show her how to do it on me. About jumped 3 feet in the air when she hit the first one, but wow, what a feeling after I got of the table and walked around, takes some getting use to, like I had just gotten longer legs.
