Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 105: 2010 Assessment

I haven't got anything to invest in this venture but if you put an empty jar on the bar I'll toss in my loose change whenver I pass through! :D

Whenever you pass through? You keep telling me you don't drink anymore, hence, you'll never be in the bar and what you're telling this guy is you're not giving him a dime. Ya cheap bass terd.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 105: 2010 Assessment

Thank goodness. He checked because the breakers are in the store room next to my apartment and something must have flipped them in my apartment when the water came in and the electricity in the entire house went out. It just sounds like a mess.

Of course not. I will be dealing with this in the mature responsible (hockey fan) sort of way. I'm driving back to Boston on Friday morning (assuming I don't get hit by a bus between now and then) and plan to get to my place about 1-2pm. Unpack the car, relax, then return the car (rented near MGH) and head to the Garden (or the bar and then the Garden depending on the time) with the Hosers and then to wherever for a few (read: many) beers.
It's good to know you have your priorities straight. ;) :p

if I wanted to start a bar, who would want to invest in it?

Paging BIGMRG74! Paging BIGMRG74!

Scrappy St. Joe's wins again, this time in triple overtime, 104-103, over Quincy. What a tourney they're having. On to the Elite Eight!

How much money should I put you down for in this venture?

Shot asked me to let you know that he's in for all the money. Everybody can manage the place and just pay him half the profits. Oh, and I get free beers whenever I'm in town.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 105: 2010 Assessment

So one of my friends who lives on my floor just punched out two double paned windows as he was overly drunk. Campus cops called, along with our school corpsman staff. Long story short, after getting bandaged up and not cooperating with the cops (wouldn't let them pat him down for weapons, just being difficult to work with) he and the cops begin walking out of the dormitory (I'm on the third floor). He winds up trying to run from them, and is now at our university police headquarters, who knows what will happen now.

I'm guessing Saint Pat isn't his favorite person tomorrow.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 105: 2010 Assessment

Just found out that there is "some" water in my apartment and that something that was plugged in shorted out the entire house, causing my landlord to go in and see what is up. :( :( :( He called to say that he took out the rugs (the entire apartment has tile floor so I have some cheap area rugs) and is "replacing a few power cords"...I don't know what that means, but now Friday seriously can't get here fast enough!!! :( Luckily tcbg is going to the apartment tomorrow, but I dread what he's going to find!
Yuck, and I thought what I cam home to tonight was bad enough. Apparently, our sump pump motor burnt up this afternoon right after I left for Clinic, and it really stunk up the house. I came home to see Dad and Garrett busily working on replacing it, or at least up to the point to where Dad realized that he had the wrong sized pipe to go to the new sump pump. To think his actual trade is in Plumbing. Oh well, The snow melt is gone from around here and the ground is even starting to dry out, being a lot less muddy now than what it has been.

Yeah, saw that score last night. They look right now to be a team you got to bury them when you get the chance, not even let them have a chance to get back into the game.

My guess? He's likely getting arrested for numerous things (he's underage, to top it all off), and is likely getting some serious punishments from the cadet regiment. Worst case? He's going to get kicked out of school.

Yeah, your schools sounds like its pretty strick, so I would have figured that the kicking him out option would come into play. :o

Well, to be honest, this whole situation could have been resolved if our campus police had just thrown him in handcuffs to escort him to the car. Did they? Nope. Instead, they let him lead the police down the stairway, where he continued playing games with the cops... "you're too close, get back more." Then as soon as he got outside, he bolted. Word has it the NYPD is now coming to aid in the search.

Safe to say he's ****ed and might as well pack up his stuff, because I don't see him not getting the boot.

Good morning, Lodgitoids!

Today's lecture covers interwar Europe (1919-39), but the studs' minds will be on Spring Break already.
