Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 104: Back To Normal Sports

You're not even going to mention the Big Sioux/I-29 Truck Stop? No wonder you're MNS.
They're not going to be drunk. I recommend I-29 for drunk food. I've never actually been there sober...:D
I mentioned the truck stop and I didn't even go to school there! MNS was the one to take us there at 3AM! :p
No I didn't. We went to Roadhouse/2-29. So you didn't mention the Big Sioux, now did you. :p I'm ignoring the fact that both are nearly identical

:D

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 104: Back To Normal Sports

I haven't posted in this thread for weeks... seem to be working overtime a lot lately. And thankfully, Sydney Crosby has yet to ruin OT for me. Yet. ****ing hell...

There are more than 1 truckstop restaurants in Grand Forks?

I still remember that the place we went to was good breakfast food, while drunk, at 3AM. :p

This is an even worse visual than you in the stars and stripes Speedo.

How about............ I am currently wearing my speedo while eating Doritos with a black cherry soda pancake on my head? ;)

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 104: Back To Normal Sports

Exam over (didn't think it was that bad) and I'm nestled on the couch watching a DVR-ed episode of Iron Chef America (Battle Pizza Dough with Mario Batali and Todd English!). :) Plans for tonight include going to bed early and relaxing.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 104: Back To Normal Sports

One of my former roommates at Tech used to crush his Doritos into practically powder and eat them with a spoon.
What? He didn't snort or just smoke his doritos after that?? :p :p :p

Indeed!!

Ah, back to being regular. Think I ate some bad Mexican food Friday night and I've been dealing with some food poisoning since saturday morning. Woke up then, burped as I sat up, and though the burp tasted nasty. Got up, and then hussled to the bathroom. Had to go to school both Saturday and Sunday because of a weekend workshop, but thankfully, it wasn't bad enough to where it was uncontrollable, just frequent urges that you wanted to answer. :o

Much saner schedule now for me this month. :D

Get some rest!!! I have to head up to my brother's house tonight to meet with his accountant, who is also my accountant, I guess. He's done my taxes the last 3 years. But I totally forgot to set my TiVo for Lost tonight so I have to head home first. And not sure what I'm going to do for dinner either.

wally - glad the surgery went well!

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 104: Back To Normal Sports

I wonder what that rat bass turd chef at g2's house is cooking for dinner after the gawdawful soda pop pancakes he made for breakfast. Disgusting.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 104: Back To Normal Sports

Evening all. Survived the day at work.

Am finally set up for the telephone/internet/dish. Is there no customer service that is customer service anymore?? Called Verizon to set up the change- ran thru the battery of both handsets, the cell and ended up on the cord phone before I could get a real person. The telephone tree alone took almost 5 minutes to navigate thru. W tee F? So they had to call me back this AM which they did to verify the info. THey did that. Then I get 2 messages today that if I do not verify my acct everything is cancelled. 2 different #s. Neither one is a direct line. 15 effing minutes on hold so I can verify what should have been verified this AM. Chick screwed up and didn't do everything. Blasted the guy and wanted to know why I didn't get a direct line to call- after all you would think that they wanted me to be a customer and was told that I should have know better than to call at this time.

Does anyone have a good service dept b'sides verizon wireless?? So far AT&T was way awful, the Comcast guy thought he could talk circles around me and thought if he was condescending I would go with them. The verizon folks are nice once you find a real person but you could be planning your funeral before you are off hold.  .

A quick scan of the recent Lodge activity: I see references to bacon, margaritas, surgery, and truck stop restaurants. All is well. Carry on.
