Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 104: Back To Normal Sports

Morning,

Today's a great day for baseball! :)

Atlanta vs NY Mets kicks off the MLB pre-season schedule at 1:10 ET.
Twins vs Yankees kicks off my MLB 10 video game pre-season at 6 PM ET.

Diva, be a minnesota fan, being a tech fan is...painful.

Being a Minnesota fan is rather painful too, of late. :(

Morning Lodge. Off to see the shoulder doc (or his trusty sidekick the nurse practitioner at least).

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 104: Back To Normal Sports

I made it through the surgery:D . It wasn't alot of fun but it wasn't bad either. They told me to come in early and then I had to wait past my regular appt., the Dr had issues with the surgery before mine. I can see why tweakers like oxycontin, they gave me one at noon and I was stylin' until midnight:D .then reality set in. Pretty much hurts now, thank god for a Donjoy Icemen, circulates ice water through a pad that is velcro'ed to my shoulder. Wouldn't have any kind of orthopedic surgery without one. He scraped out a bone spur and fixed the tear, still not sure how long recovery is going to be. He told my wife it looked better than he thought it would so... . Now I need it to calm down enough so I can drive to the hockey game friday and saturday nights:p

Thanks for the good lucks and if you thought my typing was bad before, now I'm lefthanded

Good to hear that Wally.

If you are allowed to drink, have a margarita. If not, have some bacon. ;)

Good Morning

Another day of work...I have several meetings today, that appear to be pointless, so I expect a boring day.
You're not even going to mention the Big Sioux/I-29 Truck Stop? No wonder you're MNS.
I mentioned the truck stop and I didn't even go to school there! MNS was the one to take us there at 3AM! :p

Good morning Lodge.

Taking the day off from work and spending it with the little g's.

Made the little g's favorite for breakfast. Buttermilk pancakes from scratch and bacon. (I add a little black cherry pop to the pancake mix)

Next on the agenda. Playtime. :)

Get well wally!

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 104: Back To Normal Sports

Great news, wally!

Good morning, Lodge. Back from the doctor, and I've actually gained weight; up to 158. Guess the whole sandwich eating thing is paying off...

Day two of a week full of fifty degree days to help Denver prepare for its "Gold Pan" series against Colorado College. Good morning all. :)

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 104: Back To Normal Sports

OK, no surgery for me and my shoulder ... yet. I guess it's NPB as these things go (rotator cuff). So I get to start PT and try to make it better, stronger, faster.

The shoulder guy I would have seen, if needed, is the Twin's shoulder guy. He'll be heading to spring training soon.
