Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 104: Back To Normal Sports

Yeah, I'm learning that. :)

Thanks!

Um, because if he/she has my genes he/she will not have any athletic talent. :p :o

You do have a point, it's not like you all can see that I am getting fat or something. :)

I didn't want to say anything until now as the risks of issues are so high at the beginning. We're a third of the way through, and even though things can still go wrong, it's a lot less likely.

And you all would get a laugh out of tCBG, when I told him the baby was due in Mid-september, he said "Good, it's before hockey season starts."
Look what I do for a living. You think I could get it right. When I got pregnant and figured out my due date (April 6) I almost jumped off the bridge. :o Mr said (after looking like a deer in the headlights), "Don't worry we will suck this year. They are awful." They went the furthest they ever did and went to some midwest state for the regionals. On my due date I was listening to them on the radio. No cell phones back then and his alpha pager didn't work where he was. Thankfully first babies are almost always late. Lil arrived after he got home.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 104: Back To Normal Sports

Oh, and good morning boys!

GOOD MORNING EVERYONE!! wobbly wednesday is here.

Getting direct TV today and phone service is switching over. Take that you jerks at AT&T!

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 104: Back To Normal Sports

Live hockey >>>>>>>>>>>>>> hockey on TV. Commie FAIL. :p
Clearly, you've never been to the Alfond and sat in the visitor's section under the balcony, or the sections on the sides where you can't see one net. Or to the Matthews and get stuck behind a pole (and no, we're not talking something like a telephone pole - this is a 3-foot square column of cement; there are some seats on either side along the ends, and seats directly behind them in the endzones!).

Congrats on stepping up to Directv. :) Did you get all the fancy extras like HD + DVR? Oh and Sports Pack so you can watch all of the Gopher games next year. ;)

Good morning!
It's the first Saturday of the week for someone. Hint: It's me. :)

The alphond is like being in a church crying room- all glass in front. Soundproofed- very effectively silencing any noise you makebecause you are under the balcony, can't see most of the action. Thinking of the way the Maine folks are posting about their team, they might want to take a stint in there.:p

Mr was panting for the sports pak. No versus tho. Won't get to watch Rollie the goalie on off nights.

Are there weeks that have more than one Saturday?

If so I am all for it, but I would like some advance notice of which weeks those are! :D

Always get as many channels/packages as you can when you first sign up, because that's when you get the best deals. Like $30/m for 6 months or whatever.

Then just cancel the ones you don't want once they go full price. :D

No Versus sucks, but you only missed 54 games this regular season by not having it. Playoffs, thats a different story.

DTV will get something worked out with Versus. In the meantime, call and see if they will give you a break on Center Ice, or they may give you a discount on the Sports Pack. I'm going to call them about the Sunday Ticket...see, I have season tickets to the Pats now, so I don't really need ST this season...but maybe for a price break I'll renew... ;)

They really are responsive to customer concerns. Oh, and if they invite you to join Insiders, do it. In return for offering our opinions, they give us free goodies. :)

Also, make sure you activate your online access to take advantage of their discount.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 104: Back To Normal Sports

Morning Lodge.

I have to go to Green Bay this afternoon for work. I was originally supposed to go to Milwaukee, but the work got moved to Green Bay, which is handier for me, since I have other work that is going on in Green Bay that I can check on as well, and it is a shorter drive. Unfortunately, I will miss all the games except for on Friday night and Saturday. :(

That sounds like an eastern problem. We don't have those issues out here, except for maybe Wisconsin, but they don't really count. :p

So you will miss 2 games? that's not exactly "all" the games. :p
