Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 104: Back To Normal Sports

My apartment smells like homemade granola. :) Cheaper and tastier than the store stuff.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 104: Back To Normal Sports

Once again, good luck! :)

Who needs TV when I have USCHO to keep me entertained?

Congrats, legal! :D

Evening, Lodge. Made a great turkey loaf with mashed potatoes for dinner tonight... it was the first time in a long time that I had fun preparing a meal of any kind.
That sounds good. :)

Holy cow, Legal's pregnant?! ;)

I've done that twice in the past couple of days (UNH fans who've dared say something bad about BC suddenly found themselves red).

Pfft, you make it sound like that was my first reaction! btw, Darci, Mav, and Ankur were informed this weekend, and are all thrilled for you. :)
You're right, I should clarify that it wasn't your first reaction. But you still said it. :)

Thanks to everyone for the well wishes! I will try to keep the gross, grumpy or otherwise hormonal pregnancy posts to a minimum, there's a whole other board for that. (Though I will have to admit the Trolls here have nothing on the trolls that are over there!)

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 104: Back To Normal Sports

What the hell is redhawkdoosh10 doing in that thread?

Boredom? Trolling? Who knows.

I took a look in there. I usually don't agree with redhawkman10, but this time I'm with him. Billy is such a huge doosh and what redhawk said to him is exactly correct. In about 2 months Billy went from wanting to gut the whole program to thinking they're unbeatable. I wish he drove his car into the grand canyon.

I know, I am as well. My personal issues with Billy aside, he's calling a spade a spade, and that is awesome.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 104: Back To Normal Sports

time to take my mind off of interview prep and go play some hockey!

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 104: Back To Normal Sports

Got through one round of volleyball playoffs at work... I nearly served out the first set from down 19-23 to get it to 24-23... we traded serves and then one... and then i served out the last set from 19-22 to win 25-22... i think one of those started at 18... not sure... we won after not taking a set in the last 3 weeks.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 104: Back To Normal Sports

My sources have informed me that tDon is on his way to legal's to try and recruit him. We think he's gonna be a solid grinder on the second line at minimum. :D

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 104: Back To Normal Sports

But he's already verbally committed to Michigan in 2028.

:p

They DO always have the number one recruiting class.

CC to those who were interested: Chez Rube is NOT open this Fri, as of this moment. Saturday are normal hours, 6pm-close.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 104: Back To Normal Sports

From what I've heard, DO NOT WORK THERE. It's misery.
Yeah, can't really imagin that working at Cedar Point would be all that fun. Every day the same thing, trying to stuff some lardbutt into their seat so the safety bar will lock, or putting up with snot-nosed kids that are all out of control. Or even putting up with these guys.....
And you all would get a laugh out of tCBG, when I told him the baby was due in Mid-september, he said "Good, it's before hockey season starts."
:D :D

Billy's clearly not playing with a full deck. He tried pulling that unbeatable act off there over on the D2F boards for a while, until we laughed him off from that MB.

Ever have that dream where you're at school and you just realised that you forgot something like your homework or that there was this big test that you had totally forgotten about?? That actually happened to me today. Teacher today started talking about getting out your homework and I just got the deer in the highlights look going. :o :(

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 104: Back To Normal Sports

Who wants to help me raise money for the Travis Roy Foundation?

The Sunday after the Frozen Four is The 24 Bowl, a bowl-a-thon at King's in Boston. Legal will also be bowling, if she ever actually signs up.

Anyway, if you can help, even a little bit, help sponsor me here, or my team here.

That's right, our team name is "UNH". So, please donate, and help UNH do something great in April for once!

I mighta donated if you named your team "UHN." Sorry.

Okay, I wouldn't have donated anyway, but it's not because it wasn't a good cause. I'm dropping a LOT of dough this month. A last hurrah of sorts, for the season.

Is it November, yet? ;)
