Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 104: Back To Normal Sports

btw, bring some extra cash to the F5. Dirty and I say you have to.

Morning Lodge. Got a call yesterday to set up a job interview! :)

...Update on the job thing: It's a desk job at a place near my house...but it's for an aviation company and it pays decent. They called me today to tell em they will call on Monday to schedule my interview. At this point, it's the best news I have heard in awhile. If I hear Shot takes a puck off his noggin tonight, it's going to be a great week. :)
GOOD LUCK!

Tee hee! Got a gray rep from Hokydad. Tee hee!
are you a :p fool?
Why, yes I am! :D

Nice way to start the weekend and the playoffs.

How many chairs will be needed at the happy table?
:dances in:
I'm in the Happy Hockey Room!!:D :D

GOOD MORNING EVERYONE!! silly saturday is here!

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 104: Back To Normal Sports

I'm in the Happy Hockey Room!!:D :D

If we have a home series I'm coming home (March, as I've already declared it, is going to be a "lost month")... we need one more tonight.

----

Today I'm going to stroll out to Seven Corners to a place called "Off-Broadway Shoes" to see if i can't pick up some dress shoes for work. Later I get some bed side tables.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 104: Back To Normal Sports

Good morning. Some random ramblings...

1. Target Center sucks
2. Black & Tans are the bomb
3. Pepsi sucks
4. UW is #3 in the country? Bwahahaha, college hockey must really be down this year because they are not that good.
5. The Gopher's couldn't catch a pass or a cold.
6. I am going to my first ever SCSU home game tonight.
7. Target Field looks awesome......and I have tix for opening day. :)

If you want some fun, drop by the Maine thread. The panic in there is unreal.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 104: Back To Normal Sports

SG - check the gopher season thread (warning, there's math). I basically reached the conclusion that there's an 80% chance of a UND-MN first round matchup.

There's only one conference game left, and UND still has 4 possible opponents for the first round. MN looks like the most likely.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 104: Back To Normal Sports

I'm happy with the Gophers recent play actually, and playing a big rival (not just in the opponents mind) I think will help their chances in the playoffs. As they will be much more focused and want to bring their "A" (high C in their case) game every night.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 104: Back To Normal Sports

Shotty Shot isn't at the happy table tonight.

That cupcake Colorado College did them in.

Pfft. If PU was in the CHA they would be busy dusting off their golf clubs rather than getting the McCupcake Cup from Mr. McCupcake.. :p ;) :D :)

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 104: Back To Normal Sports

Good afternoon tLodge! Would have been here this morning, but I had chores to do.

I'm in the happy hockey room this morning, though I'd trade being there today for being there on April 11th. (there's a lot of things I'd give up right now to be there on April 11th.)

no hookers for Brent either.

Happy table for me!!!! :) :) :)
You know, when I think of posters who need a hooker, Brent does NOT come to mind.

Off-Broadway Shoes is awesome, you should be able to find something there at a reasonable price.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 104: Back To Normal Sports

Woot, UNH won hardware last night! (I'm kind of excited, as through the first half of the season, it looked like they'd be fighting for 4th at this point.)

There's only one conference game left, and UND still has 4 possible opponents for the first round. MN looks like the most likely.

UNH has 5. It was 6 yesterday, but Lowell won, so they can't finish 8th. I'll take anyone but Vermont.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 104: Back To Normal Sports

Here's a lesson for all you single guys who may someday get married (insert MNS joke here :p ): At 10AM this morning my wife said, "you know, we really should get new speakers in the dining room." At 12:30 they my new Polks were fired up and cranking out some tunes. Never pass on such an opportunity! :)

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 104: Back To Normal Sports

Hi, Lodge.

I'm not going to be in any rooms this weekend, except maybe still maintaining my lampshade dancing in the happy room, because my team has the playoff bye this weekend! :)

My more rational half talked me down out of my hissy fit from yesterday and convinced me not to scrap my plans. Though, I'm questioning the rational part a bit, because I did end up in Wisconsin.
