Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 104: Back To Normal Sports

Good to hear. You don't want it going off and making a bunch of baby cars that you have to take to the shelter.
*sigh* :p
btw, bring some extra cash to the F5. Dirty and I say you have to.

Morning Lodge. Got a call yesterday to set up a job interview! :)
Bail money?

AWESOME! :D Good luck!!
Good morning and Happy Friday tLodge!

Something has to be wrong, I feel way too good today. Of course, it is Friday, which I have been looking forward to since Monday! This week at work has Dan Cloutiered in the worst way.

Good luck!!
I haven't heard that in a long time...time to bring it back?
Ha!

There are 60 1st graders from area schools touring the paper mill today. They're completely jacked over being handed safety glasses and ear plugs :D
We also had a field trip to a papermill in 1st or second grade and got to wear glasses and ear plugs. I remember being quite excited about it. (And about a long tube of spinning pulp? I think? It was awhile ago :o )

Checking in from home. :) Have a new recipe that I plan to demo when I go back to the folks' house next weekend - healthy veggie lasagna rolls with meat sauce (made the recipe up myself! :) ). I need willing victims (I mean, taste-testers).

S'upp y'all..

Ffff fing work. People coming by cause everyone else is out today. "hey mookie, can I get historical data blah blah?". Me: "no, data is for chit here.". "well can you run it anyways, Ted really needs it."

for what? Toilet paper is much softer and that the only thing useful to do with it.... Oh well. When is lunch time coming up?

I think so, but only because I can never remember if we are 'allowed' to use the alternative.

Veggie lasagna with meat sauce? Doesn't that defeat the purpose of the veggie lasagna? (and if you make it without spinach and sausage I'd try it)

Um... lunch time was three hours ago. It sounds like you need beer o'clock.

Messy Excel Formula of the week. Not the worst ever, but the worst of the week for me.

Code:
=CONCATENATE($A5,$B5,$C5,":",IF(AND($F5>=CEILING(Sheet1!$I$2*Sheet2!$G5,1),IF($D4>=$D5,0<=CEILING(Sheet1!$I$2*Sheet2!$G5,1),$F4<CEILING(Sheet1!$I$2*Sheet2!$G5,1))),"y",""))

Let us know how long it takes to clean all that sheet off the ceiling. :D

I don't remember/know the alternative. *Unless the initials are MC*

Well - I like meat sauce (ugh - I know, but there's no other way to say it) and have been trying to balance my meals a little better and add more protein. I didn't even think to add spinach, I'm not sure I would (though I love it!). I promised not to add sausage - trying to go the healthier route.

yeah, I can't say that's fun but I think I've done much worse today. On the other hand, I've done this thing I'm working on so often that it wasn't brutal... it just took awhile given my state of health and concerntration.

So what veggies are you using?

And don't feel bad about liking the meat sauce, mom's sauce was never complete without meatballs. Though she rarely put meat in her lasagna. (which was fine with me!)

Carrots, zucchini, yellow squash, onion, peppers. (making this up as I go, but those were my original thoughts) You probably could add mushrooms, but I'm not a huge mushroom fan (except in marsala).

Thank you, legal. :) (I actually have a container of her sauce in my freezer at the moment) (gmann ... ) :p

Sounds good except the peppers. For some reason I am not a pepper fan. And I agree with you about the mushrooms, though I have found that shiitake mushrooms add a nice nutty flavor to some foods.

Hey, that's more than I have. Even if you are in PA, you are still closer to her sauce that I am! I think I could live off of her sauce.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 104: Back To Normal Sports

So you two are talking about nutty flavor and meat sauce. Great way to close the week. :D

Things I've learned today:
United sucks worse than Delta
American Airlines people are mean
O'Hare is a very unpleasant airport
Don't ever lose your camera charger

Aside from that, I'm quite nervous to "meet my biological dad" (haven't seen him since I was 4)... Which will be happening in 2 or 3 hours... :/

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 104: Back To Normal Sports

I'm not buying a hooker for MNS.

that's not what it's for. If you would ever be on AIM, I could tell you things that I don't want Brent to know...:)

not by much, depends on where you are, and yes it is.

Update on the job thing: It's a desk job at a place near my house...but it's for an aviation company and it pays decent. They called me today to tell em they will call on Monday to schedule my interview. At this point, it's the best news I have heard in awhile. If I hear Shot takes a puck off his noggin tonight, it's going to be a great week. :)

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 104: Back To Normal Sports

Don't know about Raleigh, but it is supposed to getup into the 60s over the weekend here. :)

It's a bit chilly in Chapel Hill, but very clear and nice.

Afternoon, Lodge - drive-by post from North Carolina. No one's told me I have a purty mouth yet, so that's a plus, but we're not back in West Virginia yet either. :o

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 104: Back To Normal Sports

SG- would the desk job eventually become a pilot job? Good news though

no, no it wouldn't. But honestly, I'm ok with that. If I'm making good money and staying within aviation, that's just fine by me.

SG, Good luck with the job interview even if it leads "only" to a desk job. Who knows, if your new boss doesn't like the way you do your job maybe he'll tell you to go fly a kite. :D
