Both my godparents died of emphysema, one of my buddies from college died at 49 of lung cancer and he was not a heavy smoker. If I ever found out my kid was doing it I'd kick his *** right up to the moon. /rant

Morning Lodge. Could not believe how light the traffic was this AM. I don't believe very many people go to early services for Ash Wednesday these days and it's not another fake holiday for the (un)civil servants.:confused:

I know a lot of women smoke as a form of weight control. I'm not saying it's a good reason, I'm just saying that might be part of their reasoning.

No, I think my dreams are taunting me, because I'm pretty sure I was getting hit on by a 17 year old. My alarm went off before I found out what dream me did in that situation.

edit: the weird thing is, I used to never remember my dreams, now over the last 2 weeks or so, I remember very specific details of several dreams

Hey Mark, Here's one "winter-time" difference between where you live and Denver [where I live]. Your above post refers to an inch or two of snowfall you received overnight.

While reading the sports pages of this morning's paper I looked at the transactions column. Right next to that was a note listing the names four golfers in the Denver area each of whom carded a hole-in-one yesterday. Ahhhhhh, winter in the Rockies!:D

GOOD MORNING EVERYONE!! wobbly ash wednesday is here.

Spent yesterday afternoon searching for boots for Lil who grew out the ends of his. Yikes. After 6 stores found a pair at Timberland. Why is it they do not make shoes for size 6-7 in men/boys?? No store had anything smaller than a 7 and only 3 had anything under a 7.5.:mad: My father in law (cobbler) told us he is going to be a pain to find shoes for when he was a tot (very skinny feet) and he has lived up to it.

Should have just got him the size eights and stuff like some cotton balls or paper towels into the toes. The Lad is a growing boy, and he'll need the size eights soon enough.

He has to run a few miles in them- he is going to the Ididirod at Calumet (Ossippee NH). Human sled race over a few miles. The big boot scenario would have a disastrous scenario.

I think the problem you are having is that size 6 is the cut-off for kids sizes, where 7 is the smallest men's size. It is a fact that has helped me save money occasionally when I could buy a kids size instead of the men's size. (like when buying hockey skates.)

Yeah, you'll have her number, and every other despirate Techie guy thats bothered to look up from their book or World of Warcraft game there as well. ;) ;) :D


Anyways, chicken sandwich for lunch here, and then off to AAIMT to go rub today.
