Priceless- good to hear it went well, hope she's staying settled and relaxing :p

Checking in from the couch. Had my Genetics test today. Definitely didn't ace it (I realized I got a part of a problem wrong when I was sitting on the T on the way home), but I really think I did well. (Problem was only worth 5 points - and yes, I beat myself up over it the entire 90 minute ride home, the additional 20 minute walk home, and at home until I decided to watch High Fidelity). Should be a quiet weekend here with the bf up at UNH for the weekend (I'm only attending the BU game on Saturday) - should be a good time to catch up on some cleaning, toe nail painting, and preparing for Tuesday's and Friday's exams...

The reason you need to cook hamburger all the way through is because it's ground beef. All the impurities and such are mixed in throughout the meat. Steak and such only needs to be cooked on the outside to kill the impurities.

I watched that as well. I even stood up at the end and did the sweeping motion with my right arm during the Battle Hymn. Now we get to see how far we have fallen. I probably should have bought more beer.

Mom is resting. The pain block wore off much sooner than they thought, so she's feeling it. The pharmacist gave her the go-ahead to take Ibuprofen, so hopefully she'll get some sleep this afternoon.

And if you would, please pray for my mom. A couple months ago, she had carpal tunnel surgery, only to find that it was unnecessary. She's had the tremors, numbness, etc in that arm and I'm afraid she's getting worse, both physically and mentally. :(

Watching the Olympic on TV, listening to the Big Boy hockey game, and watching curling on the intertubes. Life is grand. (my brain will be fried by the end of the night)

CHA, if you're not doing anything, feel free to come over, we'll just be hanging out and watching hockey, starting during the Gopher game. I think brent is planning on getting here at about 2:30.
