Hint for next time: set it for 2min, or listen for the pops to get >5 seconds apart. Trust me, I was one of those kids that cleared out an entire dorm building because she set a bag on fire, so I've been super careful since then.

Aaaaaand, I officially have the place to myself for the weekend.

In like.. the first week of dating PB, I managed to horribly burn a bag of popcorn. The problem was, it was a small bag, but I wasn't thinking so I pressed the popcorn button.

I prefer medium rare. I'm not sure if I could do blue.

I usually get rare-medium rare, depending on the cut. A good steak I usually like more on the rare side, while if it is a thicker cut prime rib or something similar I'll get it medium-rare.

If I want something well done, I'll chew on a boot. I hate it when people destroy a good piece of meat by cooking all of the flavor and moisture out of it.

My family will only do steak, etc well done. Little Sister had salmonella when she was younger, so now everyone is hyper vigilant about things like that. I used to be only "meh" about steak for that reason, but the first time I had one that wasn't a little hunk of leather, I finally saw the light.

She is probably one of those people who likes to totally burn her marshmallows when making s'mores too. I like my marshmallows toasted and golden but not a lump of charcoal. If that's how you like it why not just eat charcoal instead?

I was once at a Japanese place where they cook everything in front of you. A lady ordered her steak well-done. The chef looked at her and she had to repeat herself. He was not as much fun after that. Hooker.

Back from NYC. Was supposed to go to the Statue of Liberty this morning with my boss and my two co-workers. We had 10am tickets. I was supposed to be on the 3pm shuttle. Everyone else was going to stay a little longer (I'm going to Providence tonight for the BU game - priorities!!!). My boss and I were at one hotel, the other two at another. Decided to meet down at Battery Park. We meet up there and the other two decided to leave with me and brought their stuff with them as they checked out of the hotel. I did, too, but left my carry on at the hotel as I knew that they wouldn't let me onthe ferry with it. So none of us went because we didn't want to leave one behind. *sigh* I kinda wanted to go. Oh well. Another time. My boss and I walked around the city a bit and then we decided to try and catch an earlier shuttle. Got on the 1pm. And now I'm home. I should probably do a little work, but it's Friday afternoon. And I'm going to leave in an hour.

Off to the Whale, one of the nicest rinks to see a game in the northeast, and possibly the nation. Hopefully hockey won't suck tonight, but I'll be very happy with a tie against a Yale team that put up over 50+ shots last weekend against defense-first Cornell. Yikes!

Oh, and Denny Kearney is going to get his head messed with too! mwahahaha.

And if you would, please pray for my mom. A couple months ago, she had carpal tunnel surgery, only to find that it was unnecessary. She's had the tremors, numbness, etc in that arm and I'm afraid she's getting worse, both physically and mentally.
